CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My wife’s recovering from cancer. She finished the chemo a few weeks ago (3 rounds), will have 5 rounds of radiation, and then be on hormone therapy for 5 years.
Her friend recently finished treatment for esophagus cancer, and they recently found another lump they'll be testing it.
My wife isnt much of a believer, her friend is NOT.

Please pray for my friend Jason.
I hadn't seen him in weeks, at one of the best Chinese takeaways in our town, and yesterday he was finally there - much thinner than before.
I was shocked to hear he is battling cancer.

My aunt is nearing her time. I don't like to put numbers on it, but it's soon. It's been very quick.
I've been praying that she can find comfort in the Lord: that he loves her & takes care of her & she can go to the Cross & he to let her know he's there. (She is a believer FYI)

Just learned an online friend of mine has stage 4 cancer that's spread to his brain, hips, and lungs. It's "treatable" but probably not curable. He's a sweet guy, not a believer, but a decent, good soul. Please pray he finds and is found by the Lord and makes it Home. His screen name's "Musky".

My sister in law is battling cancer and hospice has been called in. Only God can heal her now. Please pray his will be done. Whether we live or die, we do it for the Lord.
