New Coke was the result of taste tests that had Pepsi beating Coca-Cola. The new Cracker Barrel logo was terrible from a design standpoint. There was too much space around the words "Cracker Barrel." The new font really did look like someone sifted through the fonts installed on their Windows computer. Like I've already posted, they had the perfect new logo already staring them in the face: the original without the man in the rocking chair and the barrel. So the question is whether the one/ones to designed that new logo knew less about it than I do (and I struggle with graphic lay-out then I have to tackle it) or it it was a slapped together logo by design.

It's cheddar. It's flavor intensifies with aging. Vintage is any cheddar that has aged more than a year and has a very intense flavour, as well as sometimes a crystaline texture.

I think that most people who were offended about the change of cracker barrel aren't going to become regular customers. They just want things to stay the same, not to actually patronise them.

I sympathise. I was also sad when the Ultima Online freeshard I played for a long time on was going to get shut down, even when I didn't really use it for months. It's just nice to know that it's still there.

I am curious though....after 14 pages of posts, I have yet to see anyone state they have eaten a Cracker Barrel in the last few years....

The last time I went to Cracker Barrel I called in the order then when I went to pick it up I waited 30 minutes, I checked with them to see what was taking so long then they told me they didn't have my order.
I left and I haven't been back.

I ate at one about ... ten or fifteen years ago on vacation? I remember it being OK, but also having no desire to go back to one.

Companies change their logos all the time. Not sure why anyone cares more about Cracker Barrel's than Bank of America. But I just read they went back to the old logo, so I guess all is well in the world!

The nearest one to me is 45 miles away. If you can't stand the thought of entering a Cracker Barrel void, you should steer clear of Los Angeles.
