That is complete nonsense. You believe in a cosmology common to many ancient pagan religions, what amounts to a giant snow globe. God's creation, as revealed by things like the Hubble Space Telescope, is incredibly more vast and reveals much more of God's glory and power. Far from hiding God, it in fact reveals just how great God is.

Why would it take a picture of earth when we have so many satellites producing a constant stream of detailed images of the earth? It was designed for imaging faint light sources so the earth would be way too bright for its sensitive instruments. It would be like staring at a cars headlights at night with them set to high beam. How much detail do you think you would be able to make out?
You post these things as if they are some kind of "gotcha", when all they do is reveal how little thought you've put into your claims. It makes you look incredibly foolish.

But the verses you quote do not say that Antarctica encircles the earth. In fact they don't even mention Antarctica. Yes He set a boundary for the sea, but that doesn't only apply to the sea that surrounds Antarctica.

I don't believe they have - why would they?
For one thing, although some at NASA might well be Christians, they are scientists. Scientists deal with facts and study, experiment and do tests to prove/disprove theories. They are not studying faith. If a NASA scientist believes in God, they will have no intention of trying to hide his glory - which is impossible anyway. If a NASA scientist is an atheist, they don't believe there is a God.

And, to be quite honest, it saddens me that someone can say that Christian astronauts, and scientists, are liars because they explode the myth that the moon landings are faked.
It saddens me that someone can say that unless Christians take every word of an English translation of the Bible literally they don't have/believe the truth.
It saddens me that non Christians could say, "well if the bible teaches that the earth is flat and does not revolve around the sun, then the Bible is false" and be put off from hearing about Jesus because Christians are uneducated/don't have their facts straight.
It saddens me greatly that Scripture is misused and misquoted, just to prove a point and that people want to make it say what they want it to say.

I believe in Genesis 1, that Adam and Eve were real AND that the earth is a globe - many others do too.

You don't seem to realise that Jesus told his disciples that they would be rejected and persecuted, just as he was. He told them that if people rejected them they were rejecting him, and if they rejected him they rejected the One who sent him. He said that if anyone caused one of his children to lose faith, it would be better for that person to have a millstone tied around their neck and be thrown into the sea.
A Christian comes along, says that he walked on the moon and talks about it. During his talk he also says that the walk on the moon was not the most important thing in his life, meeting Jesus was. He said that he had met the One who created the moon and stars and openly talked about his faith.
This is a great testimony and one that God has given him - people may even have become Christians as a result of it.
Your response? He's lying.
By rejecting Charles' Christian testimony you are rejecting him. Go back and read what Jesus said would happen to people who rejected his disciples.
