I did link to the video, but I am sorry, I don't know how to link to part of a video, or even if it is possible. I do understand about not having the time to watch long videos - I've said the same thing to you sometimes. Sorry not to be more helpful. Perhaps somebody else knows how to do what you ask.

But if he says the football field is flat, and the man disappears legs first, "because that's the way our eyes work," then he is promoting two falsehoods: 1. The football field was curved, not flat as he said, and 2. That is not the way our eyes work as he said, making people disappear, legs first, as they walk away from us.

In the youtube link in my post you linked to, it does indeed go straight to the time stamp of 1:35:35 in the 4 hour video, which is where Dean plays his clip of the playing field

I have managed to watch the clip & no way does it show that the man's legs disappear first.

Well, I have just watched the clip again, and not only do his feet, then the lower parts of his legs, disappear (1:35:48), the words that appear under the picture say: "The man starts disappearing from the bottom on a flat surface." By 1:35:54, his knees have disappeared, and the bottom of the picture shows where his shorts come to. By 1:36:03, everything below his waist has disappeared.

Sorry, but I have just watched it. I didn't invent what I said. Just to avoid any misunderstanding, I am talking about words that appear on the video itself, at the bottom of the picture, not the words "Perspective, not curvature" that appear below the picture. The first words that appear on the picture are "A Flat Football Field." This changes to "The man starts disappearing from the bottom on a flat surface."

I tried using "print screen" to insert a still from the video clip to show you, but I could not make it work.

Sorry, I don't understand. What do you mean by "this" when you say "This is what would happen"? Besides, as Prodomos has just mentioned, Dean's commentary even states that his feet and legs disappear first!

Lie #1 it isn't a flat Football field

Lie #2 it isn't on a flat surface

And of course it IS curvature that is hiding the bottom half of the man's body. Perspective is what is making him appear smaller but has nothing to do with him being hidden from the waist down
