Trump has the most Pathological unfair hatred directed at him.
However it is a bit silly to complain about it given how much he makes vile attacks on the undeserving.
Also he basically got away with the fake elector scheme which disqualifies him as President, the fact that nobody on these forums is willing to discuss this is clear evidence of a cult of personality

Try that again. I specifically ask why Trump "relative to other Republican candidates." Last I checked, Biden wasn't a Republican, nor was he on the ballot in 2016.
And I said it seems to me that conservative Christians like Trump because of certain policies he's put forth. I didn't say all of his policies, I said certain policies. You then went on to pick a couple of things you felt didn't fit into that. As if I had said all of Trump's policies, which I didn't.

Your apparent goal being to push the cult of personality mindless worship theory, rather than it being something more ordinary and less sensational like they were simply persuaded or they simply changed their minds on those couple of things. I've noticed liberals doing what I've considered to be complete turnarounds on several issues. Was that due to cult of personality as well?

And we are a government of, by and for the People.

A difficult concept for fans of our authoritarian president, I know.
There's a difference between 'enemy of the state' and 'enemy of the people'. Trump called the press an enemy of the people because they're misinforming the public. Perhaps you were mislead by the press into believing he said enemy of the state.

Like the title says, which US President since 2000 has had the most hate directed at them?

I say it's Donald Trump.

What do you say?
Trump. In my humble opinion.

The claim that some Republicans are racist because they didn't like Obama is ridiculous IMO. What about Republicans such as the late Herman Cain? Or Ben Carson?

Most people respected Obama. Only those who were most radical were hateful and prejudiced against him, IMO.

Unfair, irrational hatred: Obama.

Well deserved and earned contempt: Trump.
Odd. I have a friend who screamed and complained about how sooo many people were hating on Obama and she wanted to pray for them. But she was fine for praying for Trump's death, per her own words.

So many double standards.

(Not pointing fingers at any political party. Just extremists).

Obama was attacked horribly by the Tea Party and other right wingers.
....and they didn't necessarily represent all Republicans? I don't think so.

Well, the Republicans in Congress didn't refute them. McCain was the only one to defend Obama.

No, I misspoke. I do remember him saying enemy of the people.

My point still is if you label someone an enemy, maybe don’t be surprised when they decide to live up to the label.

I think you're getting things backwards. I can't recall anybody ever claiming that merely disliking Obama makes somebody racist. What people claimed was that some didn't like Obama because they were racist, which is not the same thing.

I would ask:
Why does the amount of criticism matter?

There is such a thing as someone who is bad at his job.

Historians didn't rank Trump so low because they were gassy and someone was rude to them at the restaurant.

Just because you like him doesn't mean he shouldn't get criticism.

Because you include the word "some", I'd disagree. There ABSOLUTELY WERE some Republicans who hated/distrusted Obama because he was black.
Some were willing and able to admit to ir but many were not.

The ULTIMATE question is...how many were like that. And I'd agree that number probably wasn't toooo big

Absolutely there were racists people who hated Obama. No, I’m not going to deny that at all.

Yes, there were plenty of racists people who disliked Obama. But not everyone who criticized Obama was racist, to be fair.
