In another attempt and with a different AI, I made the correction manually and it returned a good outline to what the warning was for. AI in blue.
"In Acts 20:31, when Paul addresses the elders and then warns "everyone," he is emphasizing the collective responsibility of both the leaders and the congregation in the church. The warning serves several key purposes:
- Universal Vigilance: By addressing "everyone," Paul underscores that the threat of false teachings and spiritual deception is not limited to the leaders but affects all members of the church. Each individual must be vigilant in their faith and aware of potential dangers.
- Awareness of False Teachers: Paul is warning that false teachers will arise, both from within the church and from outside. This warning is meant to prepare the entire community to recognize and resist teachings that deviate from the truth of the Gospel.
- Encouragement to Support Leadership: While the elders have a specific role in guarding the flock, Paul’s warning to everyone encourages the congregation to support their leaders and to be active participants in maintaining the health and integrity of the church.
- Call to Accountability: The warning serves as a reminder that all believers have a role in holding each other accountable in their faith. It fosters a sense of community responsibility where everyone is encouraged to look out for one another.
In summary, Paul's warning in Acts 20:31 is a call for vigilance and accountability among all members of the church, highlighting the need for both leaders and congregants to be aware of and resist false teachings."
In this attempt, and everything else I've said thus far is elementary groundwork, insomuch that, in the event that day would tempt the whole world, could be the cause for some of us to miss the mark. You know the remark of the Spirit,
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. (2Tim 1:7)
Other translations end with "
discipline." Whichever, is the discipline we now exhibit enough to endure what Paul is warning us all of since the early Church? What does the scriptures finally and critically warn us of? For it wreaks devastation over the wisdom of an unprepared 'Christian' man's perceived safety without him even knowing it!
The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. (2 Thessalonians 2:9-12)
Most all of us have read this many times. But, not until recently I've noticed two masters that the heart and mind will chose from to make a welcome home with. It is either one and it appears God's perfect will to bring them to life or death this way. What is the evil master of the mind? God has revealed it to you, many are still in darkness over it by being tripped up by the lack of "the love of the truth" they cannot escape the "strong delusion" of verse 3,
"Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the
falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, ,"
Am I saying the MoS will not come? Not in the least! What I am saying is this prophesy isn't one to mess around with due to the peril of competing for the hearts. Could it be, when the Spirit spoke of the MoS through the prophets, Jesus and Paul, that they knew they were describing the man of some lie? Their choice was to be a vessel for the Lord to speak, and not of their own. As for the unthankful, they can bask in what little time God calls "the lie", or the blessed receiving of the truth of redemption, forever.
