Economic crash coming ?

If there is a financial Armageddon, what will having gold and silver do.

I mentioned this in another thread in this area on the NWO. You may want to look at my comments there for more insight. We’re going to a digital economy and the dollar’s dominance will end. It won’t disappear but stablecoins will play a big part in things to come. Physical gold and silver are fine. But ETFs aren’t tied to anything. You can’t trade them in for the latter. If you’re contemplating either stick with hard assets.

Digital currency allows the government to monitor your purchases and restrict access to certain goods if desired. For example, if they want to limit the consumption of meat they can program in limits volume wise that won’t permit the purchase once the threshold is reached. Smart products are another form of monitoring. Smart refrigerators record the contents but you don’t know where the data goes. Smart stoves monitor your energy use as do smart washers and dryers. A wise person would avoid these products. There may come a time when that’s all that’s available. Gleaning from the Amish and homesteaders is a wise approach before things tighten.

This is the time to learn new skills, discover new foods, start a garden and create additional income streams. You don’t want to be on UBI or relying on the government’s help. Do all you can to prepare and if you live in the city consider moving to a quieter area if possible. They’re locking everything up including meat. You don’t do that unless you’re expecting a problem.

The upsets in 2020 were the result of opportunists. But the next time they happen it will be driven by need. We’re reaching a breaking point financially and prices are increasing. The programs designed to help are being cut. What do you think will happen? If you don’t have a license for a firearm I’d consider it.

Good advice in every way. If I may add, I think what you are saying is that if one is investing in gold or silver, the physical asset is best and even better if you own it and can access it. Still, an ETF seems reasonable because the gold and silver ones do own it in a vault and sell you shares. The amount is audited, insured and should be real even in a crisis. Thus, an ETF is far superior to a an ETN which is only based on "contracts" for gold. When others can't pay their contracts owed to an ETN, you can lose it all.
Of course gold can't be eaten and as another mentioned it has risks. One risk too is that it can be taxed or even forbidden by government to own.

I think there will be real economic pain worldwide. First, if an end time transition is coming such transitions from God are typically accompanied by a reversal of fortune. The high will be brought low, the low will be brought high, are common for such transitions. Secondly, for the USA in particular, materialism and the love of money is peaking. Trump represents this. His tariff plan and shifts in foreign policy are making investors flee to other places. His "Golden age" and tariffs really could be a remake of the roaring twenties, leading the USA into a depression.

I should add it is interesting it did not say jewelry. There is no longer enough gold to back a currency though unless prices went 10X or more from the current level. Government has so much money outstanding that the entire supply of gold is not near enough. Bella is probably right, it will go digital so they can track. Bitcoin could be worthless if they can't track it easy.

What people should worry about is all the medicine doctors have people on. Because it ain't going to be available in some kind of political Armageddon

Armageddon, aka the end , offers no opportunity for those who hoard gold and silver to use it for any meaningful purpose.

This is a good explanation of the pair and how they differ. With everything going digital physical assets are more important. When in doubt follow the money and look who’s buying. Track the purchases from 2020 until the present and you’ll see the trend. Everyone’s stocking cash in anticipation for future bargains. The majority have their eyes on companies, real estate and investments that will be impacted by the shift.

We speak of the dollar’s demise but haven’t touched on the same for real estate. Everything’s overvalued and the correction is coming and we’ll have another crash followed by losses or abandonment. Home ownership at the levels we see today will be a thing of the past. Renting will become a way of life for everything. That’s the deeper meaning behind the shared economy. It will eventually become cheaper to Uber than to own a car and cheaper to rent than own a home. Now consider Schwab’s statement with that in mind. You’ll own nothing and be happy.

Don’t view what’s happening in the individual. See it as a symphony of coordinated events. As with an orchestra, we know there’s many parts playing a role and the collective works together to produce a specific outcome. That’s the NWO in the nutshell. And you want to find your areas of proficiency and interest. Whatever you’re good at will become your unfair advantage. Don’t try to do everything. Narrow and focus on pockets of need you can fill with your expertise and sell it.

You want to generate as much income as you can in this period and buy. Go heavy on crypto. Don’t worry about stocks. They haven’t hit the bottom yet. When 401Ks take a beating and everyone’s panicking that’s when we’re near. Desperation is the cue. Look for it and you’ll find opportunities.

Build a coalition if you can of likeminded people with differing specialties and work together. If you’re the finance guy you don’t have to be a farmer. Let your partner handle that and the food and make sure she does the same and finds others like herself. Get someone strong in faith and prayer, a handyman or jack of all trades, someone with technical proficiency, an encourager that lifts your spirits when you’re low and so on.

It’s a lot to take on by yourself and there’s a lot you shouldn’t disclose in this medium. If your partner likes to cook setup a YouTube channel. You can add the gardening in later and you’ll have another income stream to draw from and additional write offs. That’s how you have to think to survive. Don’t rely on a salary. View your money in streams. Look at my thread on side hustles in the singles forum. I shared some ideas you can draw from.

You seem to have a penchant for finance. You don’t need to be an expert. And that‘s your green light to do the same. ;-)

Old resources are good. It looks like you found a good one. I recommend building a home apothecary. You’ll find a lot of herbs available in the summer that you can dry at home and store in jars. There’s a lot of reputable sources on the subject and Rosemary Gladstar is great for beginners. You can find her books on Amazon or the library and her course is affordable.

Exactly. I’m delving into flower essences myself. I saw something a month ago and a lightbulb came on and I started digging. I have a few books from the library and I’ll try a couple and record my experiences.
