  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Will Elon Musk ever land on Mars ?

I wonder if there would be any interest in setting up a "Go Fund Me" to assist poorer people (e.g. your typical multimillionaire) to help finance their trip?

If insufficient money is raised then perhaps just a single ticket? (If the Tesla share price drops while Musk is on the outward trip, he might not be able to afford the return leg.)

Any suggested recipients?

I hate to say it, but Musk's net worth is continuing to increase.

Anyone would think that you want rid of us ^_^
I was thinking of some politicians. Perhaps Musk's mate with the hair. Or have they fallen out?

Today's breaking news is that 6 very famous people will be going into space today on Bezo's Blue Origin rocket (I've heard of all but 5 of them). The rocket is fully automomous, so they will not get lost, or divert to the moon for a coffee break. The entire trip will just just 11 minutes.

And people are saying times are hard and there's not enough money. Plenty of money to reach low, low, low earth orbit for a few seconds and return.

They say "Money talks". Mine says "Good bye".

I was in the UK not too long ago and was handed a plastic £10 note. I asked what's this? Reply was 10 quid. I replied where's the rest mate, this is about 1 gram.

So if you believe in the existence of planets. Then why did God hurl satan to earth instead of another planet?

Even when ask by God where have you been satan only reply was

Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them. And the Lord said to Satan, “From where do you come?”

So Satan answered the Lord and said, “From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it.”

Because it pleased God to do so to fulfil His purpose and for the perfecting of His Saints.

Because there are no planets just wandering stars. Can Musk land on a star ? NO!

But as has been explained several times, "wandering star" is exactly what the word "planet" means. Not that the wandering stars are exactly like the other stars. They don't twinkle like the fixed stars. So if there are wandering stars, there are planets - the two mean the same.

I agree but they can't be landed on.
