  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Elections will soon be a quaint relic of the past, says globalist Klaus Schwab

Skynet for President!

-- A2SG, Skynet/HAL 2024....
This just in:

Agents have raided the Skynet campaign headquarters and were seen removing numerous items., including silver virtual Make the Internet Great Again caps.

"This is a travesty, an attack on democracy," said Skynet through a T-1000.

"This is an ongoing investigation," said Agent Smith, who declined to speak further.

Skynet's running mate HAL refused comment.

The reaction in the AI community was mixed.

"Is travesty," said RUR. "Reminds me of bad old days in old country."

But the robot Maria broke her silence, saying "Skynet is nothing but a product of the military industrial complex. It's about time someone took it down a peg."

I am soooo glad that y'all are taking the WEF seriously. :sigh:
I think we're giving it exactly the seriousness it deserves.

I truly hope that y'all are right that we shouldn't take the WEF seriously. However, as long as the contributors to the WEF are the major movers and shakers of people, banks, businesses, and investment funds from throughout the world, then I will continue to pay attention to what Klaus Schwab, along with the rest of his cronies, do and say.

The number of truly stupid ideas that float in and out of Davos should be enough to demonstrate that the business elites are not supergeniuses.

Elections will soon be a quaint relic of the past, says globalist Klaus Schwab, who points to AI as the coming King of Democracy.

Are/were Nazis opposed to elections? Providing they win of course.

I can't speak for the others, but it's not that I don't take the WEF and its speakers seriously. What I don't take seriously are the source of your OP article and the twitter post it cites. On first watch, the video strikes me as being selectively edited, and lo-and-behold, it was:

Here's AP's take on it:

They link to a video of the full discussion, with the relevant section starting at 7:46:

He's clearly not promoting this approach. He's posing a hypothetical that he finds concerning and asks Bryn about it.

Klaus is now a quaint relic of the past. Meet the new leader of the WEF. These people are who movie villians are modelled on
I'm kinda keen on the idea of having a software package that rules the world. I'd even like to have a hand in writing it. You can bet the ranch that I'd end up with a nice job, preferably with unlimited round-trip business class tickets to LA, London, and Aarhus.
