Marcy Rheingten, a transwoman with relatives in Florida, was arrested in an act of civil disobedience at the Florida state's capitol building. She announced her act of civil disobedience, then went into the bathroom to wash her hands and pray the Rosary, and was then arrested. She could face a misdemeanor charge, with up to 60 days in jail. She might also be held with men in jail and denied proper medical care.
Here is an interview with Marcy discussing her case and some of her perspectives on trans issues.
I am posting this here so that likeminded people of goodwill could keep her in their prayers. I don't want this to be a subject of debate about trans rights.
