I had experience with that stuff 1991-1995. I knew how to read the stuff and still didn't understand it. I know it's hypothetical but missile and warhead stuff is more complicated than targeting packages. Well, the list of targets, re targeting is also out there.

On a side note, there are some pretty weird things in truck stop stalls.

Except the Houthis weren't invited to the thread and didn't know. I mean Trump has said he was going after them and he did. This was a successful operation. Rhe goal was obtained. Becauae someone, maybe Waltz, added the journalist to the tread doeant mean the operation would have failed even if he would have posted it in the newspaper.

Someone needs to be brought to task for this mistake for sure. But to go after Hegseth, who didn't start the chat nor did he invite the journalist. He was doing what he was asked to do in a front to back encrypted and approved service.

The Secretary of Defense Giving updates on a military operation with, what he thought was, top level personnel is his JOB not a teenage bragging about his access to information. The person who set up the group chat deserves a rebuke/reprimand and have it go on his record.

I find it surprising that this thread has extended to 15 pages. There is no excuse for the incident; it was a poor decision by the team who used the signal.

Anybody attempting to defend the incident is merely demonstrating their willingness to go to any length to support this administration.

Any voter defending this incident shows they have abandoned critical thinking, acting like robots who blindly support this administration regardless of its actions.

The real problem in America today is that party loyalty often leads voters to accept any decision made by their side, regardless of its impact. In 2021, some Democrats defended President Biden’s policy in Afghanistan despite the chaos in Afghanistan where residents who assisted America were clinging to moving aircraft. Now, some Republicans are defending the discussion of a military operation on a third-party app by the US national security team.

At some point, we must ask ourselves this simple question: Is party loyalty so important that it prevents us from discerning what is right and what is wrong?

If not...you don't give him that information.

It could be said that the persons on that call should have gotten an after-action report on its success or failure. That could come through normally routed information waiting in their office computer in-boxes Monday morning.

They didn't need the additional risk of live reporting on hand-held devices. That's always a greater risk, no debate about that.
