  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

ORR faced criticism in 2023 after The New York Times reported that 85,000 unaccompanied children had gone missing after being placed with sponsors. During a congressional hearing, then-ORR Director Robin Dunn Marcos did not confirm the accuracy of this figure, though former acting ICE Director Tom Homan estimated the number to be closer to 300,000.
All of that money spent and they did not bother to keep track of the children.

"JoePags?" Watchdog or attack dog.
But it was clever of you to take a random line you claim was in the NY Times and link it to an extremist website with lots of allegations---and no backup.
And some people believe this stuff. Sigh.

The children are missing, and we are going to keep trying to find them.

You forget that Trump was the president who separated families.
The Biden administration ordered the DNA testing to stop, so we don't know how many kids entered with a non-related adult. We do know the trafficking of children spiraled under Joe. Please pray that the children are found and re-united with their families. Tom Homan, and I just saw him on EWTN, (see below) is doing his best:

Homan said Trump has commissioned him to track down hundreds of thousands of unaccompanied migrant children that were brought into the country during the Biden administration. While some may be safe and with family, many were likely trafficked by cartels, he said.
"President Trump gave me three things: to secure the border, run a deportation operation, and find these children," Homan said.
"Under the last administration, over half a million children were separated from their families, put in the hands of criminal cartels to enter this country illegally," Homan said. "And who knows what happened to them during that journey? I can tell you many of them were sexually assaulted. I know. I've done this for three and a half decades. I know how these groups operate."

Seems to me a good place to look for those children are those red states who have a habit of hiring undocumented children. Arkansas would be good place to start.
