Are you sure about that? I get the feeling you're trying to downplay what I'm saying. For the sake of good academic study, please don't do that.
Whatever the case may be with Santa Muerte, it is just one example of possible maleficence that can exude out of so-called "dark spirituality." There are, of course, other examples and other forms of "harm" that various occultists can attempt to orchestrate against any neighbors by whom they feel they have been offended.
My point is this: as a Christian neighbor, it is incumbent upon me to also PROTECT my loved ones as a part of the acts of faith. Loving one's enemies---or one's neighborhood occultists---isn't to simply be done with naive abandon, throwing caution to the wind.
In other words, Christians aren't commanded by Christ to be stupid when interacting with their neighbors in the world, or even those who live next door. As Jesus said to His disciples in Matthew 10:16, "I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves."
But yeah, I get what you're attempting to insinuate: you're inquiring about the extent to which a Christian, such as myself, might live peacefully and generously with folks like your own beloved mother and sister. Am I correct in my philosophical appraisal of your inner intention in this thread?
