  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Trump Issues Dire Warning To Appeals Court if Conviction Isn’t Overturned

“We have to straighten out what’s going on with these courts,” he told the crowd. “We got a rigged deal this whole country and we’ve got to do it.

“And those appellate courts have to step up and straighten things out, or we’re not going to have a country any longer,” he added.

Sounds familiar.

Jan 6: "We fight like [heck]. And if you don't fight like [heck], you're not going to have a country anymore," he said.

OK, it's not a Trump trial, but I suspect there's at least one red hat in this guy's wardrobe.

Texas man charged with threatening FBI agent involved in Hunter Biden case

The suspect allegedly left threatening texts and a voice mail on the agent’s phone hours after a jury found Hunter guilty on three federal gun charges.

The complaint states that Timothy Muller, a 43-year-old who resides in Texas, left threatening texts and a voice mail on the agent’s government-issued phone hours after a jury in Delaware delivered a guilty verdict to the president’s son on three federal gun charges.

Muller, according to the federal document, threatened to kidnap and kill the agent, saying that the agent had covered up child pornography on Hunter Biden’s laptop.

“Did you [expletive]s really think you were going to disenfranchise 75 million Americans and not die? Lol.”

--

Oh dear, the DOJ press release has more.

“So here’s how it’s gonna go,” Mr. Muller allegedly continued. “[T.]’s gonna win the re-election, and then we’re gonna [expletive] go through the FBI and just start throwing you [expletive]s into jail. Or, you can steal another election, and then the guns will come out, and we’ll hunt you [expletive]s down and slaughter you like the traitorous dogs you are in your own [expletive] homes. In your own [expletive] beds. The last thing you’ll ever hear are the horrified shrieks of your widow and orphans. And then you know what we’re going to do? … We’re going to slaughter your whole [expletive] family.”

This put me in mind of Scorsese’s Casino (1995), when the Feds find a set of books detailing the Mafia’s involvement with Las Vegas’ gambling-industry. One wonders what this guy’s phone has on it?

The party of law and order folk, threatening to murder law enforcement agents and their families if a certain candidate doesn't win.

Grand jury information exposed by defense attorney in Arizona fake electors case

A day after prosecutors expressed concern in a Maricopa County courtroom that grand jury information in Arizona's fake electors case might be made public, they confirmed their fears when they told the judge overseeing the case that an attorney representing defendant Christina Bobb had publicly filed a court document that included transcripts of grand jury proceedings and grand juror names.

On Monday, prosecutors asked for an order to be imposed that would require the defendants to meet with their lawyers in person to review grand jury materials rather than allow them to keep their own copies. Prosecutors cited the Georgia fake elector case as a justification, saying some grand jury members there received death threats after their names were made public.
