Ahh, the bad book report style.
Yeah, so true. Technology is pretty funny, and enjoyable to use, though I should not use it as a crutch. I need to curb my AI addiction. My Republican friend on Christian Forums is gonna vote for Joe, and I trust him, so I am gonna bite my lips and vote for Joe also as we might not have any free elections if Trump gets into office. But once 2028 arrives, I might vote for a centrist party to undo some of the far-left stuff and bring us back to simpler times.

Biden may not be going anywhere today. But he will withdrawl from the nomination. He'll need some time and push from Congressional leaders....

Patience....

Woo, third party, let's go, brother. :)
"Yellow Dog!" is not a call to vote third party. It is a call to vote the Democratic line on the presidential ballot no matter what name is on it.

The phrase arose from Democrats who said they would "vote for a yellow dog before voting for a Republican".

Yellow dog Democrat - Wikipedia

Far from being a 3rd party call it is a call to stick with the only major party facing against Trump and his authoritarian, anti-democratic movement. I'm not a Democrat, but I am a member of the anti-Trump/pro-democracy coalition and will be voting *only* for Democrats in elections until the Republican party is replaced or drastically reformed from its nationalist/populist anti-democracy faction.

Hey, thank you for telling me about this, cos I live under a rock when it comes to the intricacies of politics. I have never heard of this phrase before. But yes, I'd rather vote for a yellow dog over Donald. I am pro-democracy as well, and the MAGA party is not showing much democracy.

The Democrats are not showing much democracy as well in 2024, but are still a hair or two better than MAGA. However, given the choices, and now that Biden has dropped out, the 3rd party seems even more enticing.

How does that change the choice? It is still Trump or the Dem. No one else will be taking office in January 20th.

Yeah, this news does not change the choice. I don't want to go with Trump. We need ranked choice voting, so we can rank our choices.

We won't have any other voting system this fall. You are bargaining with fantasy.

Yeah, that is the sad reality. Our voting system would probably not change for many more decades. We will keep on getting not very good candidates for a while until things change.
