Just goes to show that any murder can be solved, but maybe you should make sure that there has been an actual murder, first.

This isn’t the first time, one does not go from respecting the rights of suspects to 17 hours of torture in one incident. Every single confession acquired those involved should be thrown out but we all know that’s not going to happen.

'Paid time off'. Are they seriously still in a job? They tortured and threatened and lied to a suspect until he foreseeably confessed and attempted suicide.

Charges of attempted murder should be considered.

Most likely. SOP is suspended with pay until the heat is off.

I’m not much into fantasy. Leaving a suspect handcuffed in a car on active train tracks resulting in them getting hit by a train does not rate those kind of charges and only got the cop probation.

So knowing the suspect is mentally ill, deliberately denying them their medicine, threatening and torturing the to a false confessions..

The fantasy is thinking they will get murder charges if they get charged at all.
