Negotiations that should have taken place 2+ years ago, $Billions$ spent and untold tens of thousands of lives lost

Russia's Putin has won, and he will soon install a friendly government, and remove Zelensky and Ukraines Military force that is left

Ukraine initially gave up its nuclear weapons to Russia in exchange for the promise from the west - that if Russia should launch these series of land-grab wars against Ukraine - the west would defend Ukraine.

Honestly, I think it's more because Biden knows that he won't get much more funding through Congress than Russia "winning".
Reality Check!

The USA and Europe have given up on Ukraine, it was a no win from the day Putin entered the country on Feb 24, 2021, its been lies and propaganda ever since. Put in destroyed all the weapons sent to Ukraine, in many cases before they hit the battlefield

Yes Putin has won the war, yes he will soon install a friendly government, removing Zelensky and Ukraines military

This recent announcement has raised the white flag, Europe and the US have "Failed" in their proxy war against Russia, Putin has won, it's that simple, its a matter of weeks until Zelensky is removed, there won't be a negotiation, it's 100% Putin and Europe and the US know this

More like Zelensky continued to violate the internationally recognized (Minsk Agreements) in killing Russian speaking Ukranians in the eastern Donbas, and Putin came to their rescue, and here we are Putin wins against Europe and the US and their proxy war hands down

The idea that the Russians in the east of Ukraine were not fomenting rebellion and working to get Russia to invade ukraine is a difficult position to support in historic fact. And Russia's direct hand in funding and fomenting that action was not exactly a secret.

If a section of America in the East were to work that hard to get Russia to take over the Eastern portion of the US - even to the point of taking up arms - you might see some federal action kinda like the case between North and South.

Your in denial of the fact that there were "Two Minsk Agreements" and Zelensky continued the violations, he had land mines surrounding cities in the Donbas, he denied local elections, and installed his police force in the cities, going so far as to remove Russian speaking books from libraries, and the language from banks, government buildings, and society

Zelensky propagated the hate towards Russian speaking Ukranians, and he will soon be removed (Thank God)

In the last year, Putin's greatest success is in only losing a little territory to Ukrainian forces, at the cost of thousands of Russian conscripts and equipment that will be extremely costly to replace. It's another Afghanistan for Russia.

The Netherlands-based open-source intelligence website Oryx says it has visual evidence Russia has lost more than 1,900 tanks since the beginning of the invasion, nearly two-thirds of an initial fleet of around 3,000. Beyond quantity, a big issue is the speed at which Russian armor is being taken down.

“Overall Russia has lost a lot of equipment, it’s hard to build new equipment,” said Robert Lee, a former US Marine and senior fellow at the US-based Foreign Policy Research Institute.

“They are producing some new tanks — they are still producing T-90s — but, at the scale (required), they need more equipment than they can produce so they’re relying on older and older tanks to compensate,” Lee added.

A force of around a dozen Russian brigades and regiments—perhaps 40,000 troops and a couple thousand vehicles, in all—launched a determined assault on the Ukrainian garrison in Avdiivka, in eastern Ukraine’s Donetsk Oblast, on Oct. 10.

Aiming to surround Avdiivka and cut off the garrison, the assault force veered north and south around the city. In both sectors, it ran into minefields and pre-sighted drone and artillery kill-zones. In a bloody few weeks, the handful of Ukrainian brigades in Avdiivka destroyed no fewer than 211 Russian vehicles. Ten percent of the total Russian force around Avdiivka.

The losses were unsustainable. After a disastrous 2022, during which Russian forces lost around 1,500 of their 4,000 pre-war tanks, the Russians in 2023 have managed to keep monthly losses to an average of just 50 or so per month.

Fifty wrecked or captured tanks a month is what the Russian armed forces can afford to lose without risking a slow erosion of their mechanized units. That is to say, 50 tanks a month is what the Russians can write off and still win a long war of attrition.

That’s because Russian industry appears to be building, or recovering from long-term storage, maybe 1,500 tanks a year. Although to be clear, one Swedish analyst believes Russian tank production is much lower.

Russia has lost equipment, but Ukraine as a nation was decimated. Their infrastructure was destroyed completely and unless
money comes from the West and especially the USA, rebuilding is going to take a very long time.

Russia could find itself with no money as soon as next year and needs foreign investment, outspoken Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska has said.

“There will be no money already next year, we need foreign investors,” he said at an economic conference in Siberia Thursday, according to comments reported by TASS, a Russian state-owned news agency.

The remarks from the billionaire — who called for an end to Moscow’s war in Ukraine in the early days of the conflict last year — contrast with a more upbeat assessment of Russia’s economic fortunes by President Vladimir Putin last week. Putin praised the resilience of the country’s economy in the face of unprecedented Western sanctions imposed in the past year.

Russia’s economic output shrank 2.1% last year, according to a preliminary estimate from the government.
...
Russia is cutting oil production this month — and Western sanctions could escalate further. Ultimately, Russia’s economic prospects are contingent on what happens in Ukraine.

Foreign investors, especially from “friendly” countries, also have a big role to play, Deripaska said. Whether they will come depends on whether Russia can create the right conditions and make its markets attractive, he was quoted as saying.

In a bid to starve Russia of funds for its aggression, Western countries have announced more than 11,300 sanctions since the February 2022 invasion, and frozen some $300 billion of Russia’s foreign reserves.

But China has thrown the Kremlin an economic lifeline by buying Russian energy, replacing Western suppliers of machinery and base metals among other products, and providing an alternative to the US dollar.

Still, Moscow has a steep hill to climb to replace revenues lost as a result of sanctions, not least from exports. Data released Friday showed that the European Union’s imports from Russia fell by 51% in value between February and December last year. The bloc was one of the main trading partners for Russia before the invasion of Ukraine, with 38% of Russia’s exports going to the European Union in 2020.

The Russian government’s revenue plunged 35% in January compared with a year ago, while expenditures jumped 59%, leading to a budget deficit of about 1,761 billion rubles ($23.3 billion).

So much winning, the Russian people are tired of winning.

Your regurgitating the same Ole false MSM narrative in diversion
All of that is factual. Ukraine is chewing up Russian troops and equipment at the same time the Russian economy is shrinking. That's not the worst of it:
Hundreds of thousands of professional workers, many of them young, have left Russia since its invasion of Ukraine, accelerating an exodus of business talent and further threatening an economy targeted by Western sanctions.

Those leaving the country include tech workers, scientists, bankers and doctors, according to surveys, economists and interviews with emigrants. They are departing for countries including Georgia, Armenia and Turkey. More are expected to follow.

A mid-March survey by OK Russians, a nonprofit helping people leave the country, estimated that around 300,000 workers had departed since the war started in late February. While precise counts of the number of people leaving Russia aren’t available, some economists have reached similar conclusions about the scale of the outflow. Around 500,000 people left Russia in 2020, according to Rosstat, Russia’s statistics agency.

There isn't going to be Ukraine as a nation, Putting will remove Zelensky and the Military, and install his friendly government, Putin will rebuild Ukraine
He can't even rebuild Russia; it's gotten so bad that desperately-needed petroleum production will drop again this year. Do you think all those people fleeing Russia will come back for him? It's not just a declining economy; it's desperate attempts to hold things together that will make things worse in the long run.

To placate a war-weary population, Russia has doled out billions of dollars of cheap loans for its citizens to buy new homes.

That money is now creating an economic headache that few predicted: a fast-building housing bubble.

A debt-fueled surge in housing prices, along with fast-rising inflation, has exposed stark divisions among Russia’s leaders even as the battle rages on in Ukraine. On one side is the hidebound central bank, tasked with maintaining financial stability. On the other is the Kremlin, which is trying to shore up popular support ahead of the 2024 presidential election.

President Vladimir Putin last week said he plans to extend a popular mortgage program, which offers discounted rates to families with children, through the end of next year.

Russian Central Bank Gov. Elvira Nabiullina meanwhile has called for winding down parts of the subsidized mortgage programs and warned they were undercutting the central bank’s efforts to cool demand and inflation. The central bank last week raised its key interest rate to 16%, more than double where it stood in June.

“If the government does not make [subsidized mortgage programs] limited and targeted…the effect of the key rate on the economy will notably weaken and, consequently, we might need to keep the rate higher for longer,” she said.

Zelensky has been abandoned by Europe and the US, what don't you get about that

Ukraine is getting another $250 million in military aid from America.
https://www.cnn.com/2023/12/27/politics/biden-ukraine-military-aid-package/index.html

Germany is sending much needed ammunition and demining equipment to help clear minefields as Ukrainians seek to push Russians back. The Netherlands is now sending 18 F-16s. That's critical since Putin's failure to control airspace has made it much easier for Ukraine to wreak havoc on the invaders.

This is why Putin's assets in the House of Representatives are trying desperately to cancel any further aid, and his trolls are pretending all that aid being sent isn't real.

The evening before Russia invaded Ukraine, it seemed to many observersme included – nearly unimaginable that Putin would carry through with weeks of a threatened military attack. As I wrote at the time, Putin is not as erratic or rash as he is sometimes painted.

I had failed to take into account that Putin is, in the words of French statesman and revolutionary Maximilien Robespierre, an “armed missionary.” Writing in 1792, Robespierre explained, “The most extravagant idea that can take root in the head of a politician is to believe that it is enough for one people to invade a foreign people to make it adopt its laws and constitution. No one likes armed missionaries; and the first advice given by nature and prudence is to repel them as enemies.”

Those words seem fitting as Vladimir Putin’s disastrous war in Ukraine drags on.

Putin’s decision marked the beginning of a year of massive destruction and death in Ukraine and of extraordinary costs – both economic and in lives lost – for Russia.

It was also a colossal blunder on Putin’s part: It has weakened Russia significantly, solidified the NATO powers around the leadership of the United States and created a more unified, nationally conscious Ukraine than had existed before the war.

Even your attached article from CNN is screaming to the world that the US is done in Ukraine, "US Exhausts Available Funding"
Until the next funding is approved. But that's the best straw to grasp, I suppose.

In English, you should write "he is left" And the bear seems unable to defeat even a small nation like Ukraine. Consider what a larger and better-equipped army, like those of Sweden or Finland would do to that bear. Thanks to Putin's invasion, both of those nations are now with NATO, and NATO is now right on Russia's border. And Putin did it all to himself.

Those F-16s from The Netherlands, the mine-removal equipment and ammunition from Germany, and the $250 million in aid from the U.S. will arrive shortly, and will certainly be put to good use.
