Oh yeah, possible flooding. And antelopes. yep.
...
"The Biden administration welded open the Trump border wall in Tucson, AZ," reads the video's caption. "It’s not a crisis. It’s by design."

Other users seemed to agree that opening the gates was a political act by the current administration.
...
The implied claim is wrong. Floodgates must be opened to protect certain border barriers from being damaged during seasonal monsoon flooding. Border floodgates were also left open at times during the Trump administration.
...
A U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) spokesperson, John Mennell, confirmed that Arizona border wall floodgates have been opened routinely over many years.
...
In January 2020, when former president Donald Trump was still in office, the Washington Post reported that border floodgates were regularly left open during monsoon season to prevent flooding from destroying certain types of barriers. The article reported that Trump's border wall − a key piece of his 2016 presidential campaign − would likely also require gates to manage flooding.

A legitimate point.

May I ask if you are concerned about illegal immigrants into our nation?
It's my opinion many are supporting the actions, untold criminals and drugs crossing the border unchecked, on "Bidens Watch"

Leftists are synonymous with Marxists I know because I used to be one of them.
Oh, I see the problem! You can’t tell the difference between yourself and others. You are factually incorrect that they are synonymous.
I saw the horrors from within.
You sound traumatized.

People find horrors in all kinds of places. Including places like church and the nuclear family.

....When I was on the left my kids were depressed and acting out....
Hmm. My friends on the left have wonderful kids. Go figure....

Point is, its tricky to generalize from one persons experience.

What's the definition of 'wonderful'? And friends don't necessarily know what goes on behind closed doors. I hate to bring up suicide but that's a good example of something going on that people don't necessarily know about until it's too late, it happened to one of my friend's son he hung himself. No one would have known my 13 yr old was going through a dark depression from the outside unless I told them. Marxism IS NOT compatible with healthy thriving societies.
Marxism is like a bogeyman.... Good thing it has no power in the American government.

Yup, due to the breakdown of the family you see horrors. Religion will always have horrors. Being a christian doesn't mean being religious. The religious spirit is antichrist ie. the Pharisees who killed Jesus. When I was on the left my kids were depressed and acting out, as Christians they are now thriving and happy. Good Christian values are supportive of healthy families. Marxism is not. Marxists promote things like children being taken away from loving parents who won't let their 14 yr old have her breasts chopped off because she has gender dysphoria. The parent is the problem, so they get rid of the parent. Marxists are the ones who promote sexual freedom and promiscuity leading to divorces and single Moms. Marxists are usually victim minded and want gov't handouts and reparations for stuff that happened 100 yrs ago. Christians say 'give a man a fish and feed him for a day teach a man to fish and feed him for a lifetime', and 'love your neighbor as yourself', and 'forgive others as God forgives us'.
This post is a hot mess.

Thats true. A lot of nastiness is covered up by a veneer of happy-goodness. But this happens everywhere,.... among leftists, Christians, Muslims, you name it.

You really believe that? Then what happened during COVID? I wasn't allowed to go to state parks for crying out loud! All state parks were shut down for fear of the nasty virus circulating around in the open air. They absolutely overstepped their boundaries in the name of 'safety and security'. I could name many examples of this but clearly this thread is attracting mainly those on the left.
Closing state parks, well know path to seizing the means of production and instituting the dictatorship of the proletariat.

How is closing a state park during a pandemic Marxism?

Socialism is not Marxism.

China is communist. Does that mean communism is the future?

I was giving one example of them overstepping their power during COVID,

Which had nothing to do with Marxism.

A park is not the place you get sick at if you didn't notice. Nor the beach which was also closed. They also wouldn't allow loved ones to visit their dying parents and spouses. They died alone. They also fired nurses who refused to get the jab. Bill Gates planned on having a vaccine passport thankfully that didn't go as planned, but there will be another pandemic much worse and we will be forced to have a passport stating we got the jab. This made them gleeful that people went along with it. They were terrorized and just sat back and let them do as they pleased. Same thing happened after 9/11, people were terrorized and went along with everything Bush wanted. Including a little ol grandma getting the pat down at the airport.

Hit's all the high points and buzzwords. Bill Gates and Bush the younger, well known Marxists all.

Production lines have still yet to get back to normal since and prices at the store are crazy high.

They also have not been seized by the workers.

People don't want to work, they just want their checks in the mail.

And are clearly still living it up on those two checks that came three years ago.

If you think we aren't heading towards socialism you have your head in the sand.

Right, look at all those workers parties making inroad.... nowhere in US politics.

Does anyone here know anything about how communistic countries operate??? They don't exactly take the path Karl Marx wanted, they become dictatorships where the people at the top get everything. Man I haven't discussed this in a long time, I wanted to get far far away from anyone who believes socialism and communism is good. Closing down whatever the government wants is absolutely dictatorship. That's how communist countries operate. The government dictates everything. The people dictate nothing. No that's not what you learn in college, but that's how it plays out in real life. I have met so many people who think the people will have more power if the government becomes more socialistic. That is NOT how it plays out! I'm really sorry for those who have never been told that. Look at Australia they are much like the UK only worse, they had literal camps for people with COVID. There were entire apartment buildings locked down, they couldn't leave. That was going on in China too, they would lock the doors from the outside. People were begging for food on the internet. Why do you think people want to come to the US? They think it's land of the free. It may be still one of the most free countries but it's mostly thanks to conservative states who limit government power. Bush wasn't a Marxist, but he was about big Gov and power. He took away freedoms after 9/11 and led to the deaths of 7,000 US troops. I truly believe the more people who come here who vote for socialism the more it's going to look like a communist country, so the very thing they are trying to get away from in places like Cuba where there are bread lines will start happening here if they can't see who they vote for matters. Don't come here and vote for the same policies that causes it!

I'm not sure how we can have a conversation with someone who thinks all authoritarianism is communism/marxism.

The surge of adult male migrants from all across the globe pouring over the border will turn America Marxist or Communist?

I didn't say that did I? I said Bush was pro government power not a communist. There are authoritarians on each side of the spectrum, the far right is very dictatorial as well as the far left. The far left could be categorized as fascist. They want everyone to bow down to what they want. Tolerance for all except those who disagree. Extremely hypocritical. I am seeing more of the far left fascism than the far right authoritarianism. There are for sure those on the right who limit freedoms as I pointed out with Bush. I never said he was a communist. He was an evil man who wanted money and power. And yet he didn't do as much damage as a communist would. We have many examples of far worse evil. This is from a quick google search: "the number of people killed by the Communist governments amounts to more than 94 million.  The statistics of victims include deaths through executions, man-made hunger, famine, war, deportations, and forced labor." Either side of the spectrum, far right and far left need to be called out.

You switch back and forth between talking about authoritarianism, people wanting more socialism, and communism/marxism, it leads to the impression you think they all were the same. Perhaps what you need is a better writing style to better communicate what you *actually* mean. (And paragraphs, that would help too.)

Here is a break down of your post. I have deleted nothing from it, but only interjected responses.
Up to this point you have discussed how communist countries operate. "absolute dictatorship" "government dictates everything"
I have met so many people who think the people will have more power if the government becomes more socialistic. That is NOT how it plays out! I'm really sorry for those who have never been told that.
Now you make a warning to those who want their countries to be more socialist. (So far the implication is that they will become like the communist dictatorships.)
Look at Australia they are much like the UK only worse, they had literal camps for people with COVID. There were entire apartment buildings locked down, they couldn't leave. That was going on in China too, they would lock the doors from the outside. People were begging for food on the internet.
Here you have switched abruptly to talking about COVID responses by non-US countries. Oppression and control is clearly a theme. Nothing in this bit specifically about marxism/communism/socialism, but sandwiched between the diatribe about such above and below it is hard *not* to make that connection.
Why do you think people want to come to the US? They think it's land of the free. It may be still one of the most free countries but it's mostly thanks to conservative states who limit government power.
The US is free, but really only in the conservative states.
Bush wasn't a Marxist, but he was about big Gov and power. He took away freedoms after 9/11 and led to the deaths of 7,000 US troops.
Now you make a "not a Marxist" apologetic for GW Bush, whom no one thinks is a Marxist. (Implication: he took away freedoms, but he's not one of those commies.)
I truly believe the more people who come here who vote for socialism the more it's going to look like a communist country, so the very thing they are trying to get away from in places like Cuba where there are bread lines will start happening here if they can't see who they vote for matters. Don't come here and vote for the same policies that causes it!
And you finish by equating socialism (or more likely social programs) with communism and throw in the repressive regime of Cuba just for good measure.

So exactly what about this post do think would make anyone think your position wasn't: Socialism = communism/marxism = oppression?
