“We are in the middle of a humanitarian crisis involving asylum seekers, a crisis that will cost our city $12 billion over three fiscal years,” Adams said. “While our compassion is limitless, our resources are not.”
The New York City mayor has received $1.5 billion in aid. After receiving the funds, Adams still predicted the sudden increase in population would "destroy New York City."

Just imagine how bad it has been for border towns. New York City has a small percentage of the illegals, they are a sanctuary city, and they squawk and squawk. Our country is going to suffer for a long time even if Joe gets the boot.

I think NYC has it harder. Most immigrants, believe it or not, come from Asia, India, Africa. NY is accessible by plane and ship.
And at the doorstep, the Statue of Liberty, not razor blades and the National Guard.

I'm not talking about legal immigrants, New York City has many. Certainly there are many complaints by the legal immigrants about the illegal immigrants. Joe Kamala and Obama and Pelosi wanted the illegal here, but none of those individuals has offered ANY of their estates as a temporary place for immigrants to stay. Obama has a large estate at Martha's Vineyard not far from where the illegals were dropped off. And now Mayor Adams doesn't want them.

The problem is NY is going to ask Joey for out tax dollars to pay for it...this Country is in REAL trouble. The Biden White House said it would ask Congress for $600 million to help New York feed and house the crush of migrants. OUR TAX DOLLARS! THEY made the problem and now they want us to pay for it!

The laws of this country were passed by Democrats and Republicans, if you don't think our laws are humane than perhaps you should run for office and try to change those laws. The politicians that have not followed the law have betrayed our trust and endangered our citizens.

Most illegal immigrants in the US have been in the past just people that overstay their visas, not people that swam the Rio Grande.
