Does anyone else find that strange.

The man is suffering from depression and instead of his family rallying around him and visiting - they leave.

He should get into a brain rehab program that uses neurofeedback. Antidepressants are unlikely to cure the problem. Somebody of his status should be getting better care.

She took their young children, (Ages 8, 11, and 13) to Niagara Falls for a couple of days. There's nothing strange about that at all. Sen. Fetterman is going to be hospitalized for quite some time. Do you expect his wife and children to be at the hospital every single day? The children still have to go to school and life has to go on. His wife taking their kids somewhere to have fun and to get away from all the media hype and stress of their father being in the hospital is not only normal, it's good for their health and wellbeing.

I have always heard that when someone is having a psychiatric evaluation as an inpatient family is asked not to visit for a week or so.
Given some of the certifiably loco behavior I have observed in several Congress members, I appreciate Fetterman's commitment to his recovery.

I said nothing political in nature and merely made the observation that at a time when the man needs his family - they go on vacation.

On the face of things she seems like a lousy wife and very selfish, narcissistic person.

I wouldn't presume to judge their behavior. People with mental health problems need time away from their families, sometimes, so they can focus on their therapy.

No update was released on the status of Gisele Fetterman, the senator’s wife, who last week noted on Twitter that she fled to Canada when her husband was hospitalized.

Do you information proving it was just a couple days and they have returned?

Giving her children some dedicated time to talk about what is going on with their father, have some fun away from their home that was full of press waiting to invade their lives, taking time to show them love. This is what you call lousy, selfish, and narcissistic?
