On your chart are they supposed to have a line drawn to form something?

Hmmm, I should have spent a little more time explaining but perhaps a letter chart would be a better idea to explain what you see in the image file. There are a number of very ancient writings on anything from rocks to ostraca, (pottery sherds), where the most ancient known letters of the ABGaD are found. Typically the letter Zayin, in its most ancient form, is two horizontal lines, (and sometimes with a vertical bar connecting them but not here). Sometimes the two lines are straight but in the oldest examples they bend downward at the left pretty much as seen in the image file I posted. Note the examples of the letter Zayin in the following letter chart:

[Edit: image from Pinterest removed]

I found this image on Pinterest but it appears to be the work of Douglas Petrovich. Notice his estimation of the meaning of the letter zayin is the word ze'ah, sweat, which is what it means, but then in parenthesis he notes that he believes it to be in the sense of the brow of the forehead, (no doubt because that is what the pictograph looks like). The more common speculation is that the zayin pictograph represents a mattock or some type of plowing instrument and this is taken mostly from a later pictograph that has the vertical bar in the middle connecting the two horizontal lines. My understanding comes from the letter resh which I see right there at the end of the letter for phonetic z, written in the heavens, making it a crown, zer. In other words the name of the constellation, Zer, is right there in the constellation.

PS: I just went and checked, and yes, it is the work of Douglas Petrovich, so I should post a link:

Thanks daq, I have studied paleo Hebrew and understand the symbolization. I did not know that was what you were speaking of in relationship to the charts you posted or your former avatar. I have never seen this chart above before so now I think I understand what you are presenting. I am used to the two lines joined by a shorter line in the center between the two. I always thought it looked like an anvil of sorts.

I like Petrovich's stuff.

I don't know any Hebrew but speak four other languages, master of none including English.

Some of you folk might like this site I just found.

He was on Zen Garcia's show, which I enjoy listening to. Though I have some disagreements with Zen, I'm always open to learning from whoever, as his Ruach leads.

I certainly don't see the stars moving at millions of miles an hr / 130 miles a second. Rather they complete their 24hr, monthly, and annual cycles around the North Star; patiently declaring the glory of God.

Yes, I've noticed the flickering, as well as the different colors. When viewed with the naked eye they seem to be a silvery bluish white, however when magnified definite colors can be see. Red, Blue, Green, Purple even. Not sure if that has to do with the firmament acting like a prism of sorts or what.
Earth's atmosphere is responsible for any and all flickering, and the color refraction you are seeing--that's it.
