God sees the real person. He doesnt judge like some do. This is why He is love, mercy and just.

We should all aim to be like Him.

(I am bald and have tats under my fur!) Woof!

Christian woman, who had a ton of tats

She sounds hot.

I love to see radically different people together. A vanilla dude with a tatted up chick is awesome. It means it's a matter of the heart, and they could care less what anyone thinks. It kind of makes me teary eyed thinking about it. ^_^

It's a situation I have not been in, so it's hard to say. It would only be theory and speculation.

That is my point. It is absurd to think about.

But it is only a single line before the favorite verse use to say 'all tattoos are bad'

Being from Denmark I have never thought of people with tatoos as being dangerous. Sure there are people with that are dangerous like the ones from the criminal biker gangs.

Other than that, it's very common in Denmark to have tattoos. I perosnaly don't have any tattoos. I have always considered people with tats as being people like everybody else. The people with tats I have talked with have been nice, not Christians, but nice.

We are Christians brother and sister in spirit. We are not different from each other.

I agree I never experienced it until I started visiting church.
Bad to think about it.

Nothing wrong with tats. At least Christians with tats. I have several.
Yeah but you can't easily carry id and all of your type looking so much alike it is logical to brand you with an identifying tatoo. It's been done various times in history. Even your master cannot be confident only you will come when called for a treat. Now if it said 'corgis rule' that might be a different story.

Corgis with tats is the best!

Unless a person gets a tattoo in order to satisfy an anti-christian sentiment it's not a sin.

OTOH there is nothing we can adorn our bodies with that can make it more perfect or meaningful than God has already made it. So a tattoo doesn't add to the bodies purpose to glorify God.
So getting a tattoo isn't intrinsically evil but it is an act of vanity.

Consider the resurrection and the wounds on the resurrected body of Christ.
Consider why they remained and whether or not a tattoo would be translated from corruption to incorruption

Unless one gets a tattoo because it is necessary for their own or another's salvation it is an act of vanity

I have never seen a serious couple matching that description.

I agree with @Sketcher. That isn’t common. I don’t have tattoos nor do the men I’ve dated. “Vanilla men” are often opposed to them. They want a clean cut woman who’s feminine.

Too many, too few, or just the right amount? "Overly" is a matter of opinion.

I'm not a big fan of tattoos on women, and I don't have any myself. This isn't a spiritual thing for me. It's just an aesthetic preference.

For what it's worth, I've never thought of myself as vanilla, at least not in the sense that it means boring or plain. If she sees me that way, then we're probably not right for each other. I'm likewise not interested in women who seem plain to me, but that has nothing to do with whether she has tattoos.

I was browsing a dating site, and had come across this profile of a Christian woman, who had a ton of tats, one of her profile photos had a meme saying: Jesus loves me, and my tattoos!" and apparently a pastor at her church.

Now, I grew up among Christians that a woman who wears ink or at least that much ink (sleeve tats and such) were seen as rather sketchy characters.

They are a typically a flavor of Christian that have came out of the....system, if you catch my meaning as we have a church here that caters to only that. If you see their pictures online, people that have come out of the jail or prison trying to recover....which is commendable.

But would they necessarily be compatible with some of us vanilla Christians?

I think having tattoos in itself is not necessarily a reflection of a person's lifestyle and values, but it could be.
