Along with your medications, find a church that is good at dealing with mental illnesses.

I am not a doctor, not qualified to give a medical opinion on your hearing voices.

But UI can say with absolute certainty that a Christian will not end up in hell.

To qualify that, all Christians are required to show by how they live that they Love Jesus.

I have a surggestion which may help you and that is from the web site 25 tips to succesfully treat your ocd.

Point 4 says ' don't talk with, argue, try to ignore intrusive thoughts, but acknowledge them and move on'.

May I suggest you do that, to a voice that says " You're going to hell" say or think, that is correct. then move on paying it no more attention.

This being said, there are physical conditions that require intervention so keep looking for soloutions. My prayers are with you

Hi Angeleyes7715,

I just saw your post over at the prayer wall.

Does anyone else around you hear the voices? They're probably not real, it's probably something your mind is doing.

It sounds like you're already seeing a doctor about this. If the voices tell you to do something you might regret later, please call 911.
(Or how ever you notify the emergency services where you live.)

Please, get baptized. The voices will cease tremendously.

Voices within your mind should be realigned with the highest truth. Iow, if you know Jesus went to hell and arose from there, so counter the thought with a thought from Jesus’ vocabulary “just following in His footsteps” puts the journey on a new start from a happier place. Like 10 second T.o.m. you may have to repeat with every thought until your thoughts come under your management.

If however the voices are talking into your thoughts from an outside source, that should be ignored, you could say something to yourself like “ it’s just the men on the chessboard telling me where to go again” Personally for me the humour of whatever the situation is where my heart leans into Christ the most.

When I was diagnosed with schizophrenia at age 25 and then rediagnosed as bipolar 12 years later, the damage done by the drugs like chlorpromazine in monthly injections was enough to tank a horse. I’ve not been on medication for almost as many years because the next set of lithium meds almost destroyed the liver. ( imo should have been the diagnosis and treatment of King David)

The medications tho are like heart pills, very danagous to go off of because they intensify the effects, hell frightening to go anywhere without. Apparently now almost 1/3 of the population is bi-polar,

I have seen people from the special olympics overcome odds stacked so high you they don’t know their means.

Just know that you are not alone. The monsoons shall return to water the land in due time.

Remember Jesus of Nazareth? If it ain’t what He would say or do it ane worth listening to. Consider what spirit it is coming from.

You are not alone. Let this comfort you. I hear them too. They hate God and say He is evil. They have been trying to turn me against God for a long time. They hate when I praise Him. They are so cocky too. Annoying as all get out. I fight hard in my head. Yes I cuss them out. I don't cuss in real life. They think I'm condemned bc of how I react to them. They're parasites. God has a whole smear campaign against Him. Once Satan told me he was going to kill me. Audibly. In one ear out the other. He will not touch this saved soul. Still it's hard as hell fighting for God... just being allowed to love Him. They put up such a fuss when I do. Oh well. They told me the same thing, I won't be saved going to hell. Insinuations. Let every man be a liar and God be the truth. They won't get that I serve the God Who loved me first. I don't want their 'help'. I don't want their lies. It all happened when I got on fire for God. Did nothing wrong. Pursued Jesus with my whole heart and ended up hearing spirits. I told the doctor it's schizophrenia before I realized it was spirits. So it could be either. Either way you're not the only one tormented. Prayers that you get better.

It’s not hopeless. Since I got saved I’ve been fighting against. Have found quite a bit of success and the lord blessed me along the way. You have to go toe to toe sometimes. Take thoughts captive, sniff, get prayer, pray, read, call out to Him even in your mind. Don’t be afraid, rebuke them. Get a foothold, the upper hand on them. Be diligent, love them. Try to obey lord, and not hate them. Find your own combination of tools to go against them by reading, going to church. When all hell breaks loose lie down and spin out, it will subside some. God is merciful He can’t leave you like this. You are His child, plead with Him. Be His daughter and on and on, don’t give up. We love you too.
