end of world is coming & we're causing it

Keep in mind that not all scientists are in agreement concerning climate changes and causes. Just like with COVID, the government (and therefore the media) suppresses any information that doesn't go along with their political narrative. They want us all poor and owning nothing and they are opportunists, always looking for the next crisis. If they don't have a suitable crisis available, they will simply manufacture one or make an existing one appear worse than it is. Just a few short years ago, we all had to worry about "global cooling" causing the human race to die off by 2025, but now that we're approaching that time limit, the narrative has changed to "global warming". Well which is it, I wonder?

Do we need to be better stewards of the earth than we have been? Yes.

Do we need to worry about all the various "end of the word" scenarios that are regularly inflicted upon us by the government, media, globalists, etc.? No. Not if we put our trust and hope in God's promises.

Such as world-wide ecological disasters from comets (Rev. 8:7-11), marks completely preventing people from making financial transactions (Rev. 13:16-18), and the Lord Jesus Christ defeating an entire army by speaking His Word (Rev. 19:11-21)?

Where's the Thousand Year Kingdom on Earth (Rev. 20:1-10)?

If it ended at 1070 AD, then how do you explain everything happening today?

Yes the climate changes. No, it's not something to worry about, because we don't control it.

Don't actually have any so I'm not as invested as a parent would naturally be.

We missed our chance to do something a while ago; anyone who thinks we haven't is fooling themselves.
The band will play on for a little while yet though - enjoy it while you can. And the end I think will come more as a slow grinding whimper than a bang. (maybe, we'll see)

The thing about the boy who cried wolf story is that 3rd (or nth) time, when it's, you know.

Here though, in addition to the boy, there was in a nearby tent a scientist, and he had been saying 'in 100 years, the oceans could rise a foot', and now that message has changed some, into "whoa, it's coming sooner than I had said before" (as in 2050 instead of 2100)
