The Expanse is awesome - complex characters and plot - realistic space

I love the Books it's based on, and while I think they are better for science fiction and world building... the TV show has better characters and story progression.

Rarely has a series managed to maintain quality of plot and direction like this. It is truly excellent.

I really like both the books and the television series.

I really enjoy sci-fi but I got bored with the last season and stopped watching. Maybe I should go back.

One of the things that impressed me about Knights of Sidonia anime was the detail they put into the physics (from time to time). Turning their massive ship was a major, potentially catastrophic event.

I enjoyed it, but it really didn't have any kind of coherent mood or tone.

Existential horror or cutesy comedy of errors... is this an alien monstrosity parodying a murdered friend or is it a naive little sister character...

True true; it's been a few years since I watched it. I remember gasping when she went up against the hawkmoth, so I must have been invested regardless. Parodies...
