In the United States, there have been times when courts have made bad rulings. So, in case vaccines mainly have the potential for good, we could say the USCIS is protecting you from that court ruling.

I thought the mandate blocked was the one set by OSHA? That would not affect any decisions made by USCIS. Given that there are likely several vaccinations required for entering the country I don't find it overly surprising this one is added.

Because the court only overruled the government requiring private businesses to mandate the vaccine. USCIS is a government agency, so they certainly can set their own rules.

Except it's not the same logic. Business owners can mandate the vaccine -- it's just that the government can't compel the business owners to do so. This time, the government is the business owner...

Your mistake is assuming the law is protecting ordinary citizens -- it's not; just the business owners.

The executive order was to government agencies and has not been blocked by the courts to my knowledge. The courts blocked the OSHA regulation on private businesses with 100+ employees.

You have been grossly misinformed.

ETA: Vaccine providers are required to submit any and all deaths that occur after a vaccination to VAERS, no matter the cause. Investigation of the reported deaths has shown no obvious link to the vaccine, except for 5 cases involving the J&J vaccine and blood clots.

Furthermore, even if all deaths reported in VAERS were caused by the vaccine, there have been more than 440 million doses of the vaccine administered in the US. 9000 deaths works out to a rate of 0.002%. In order for "thousands" of migrants to die at that rate, there would need to be more than 50 million of them receiving the vaccine (100 million doses) in the first place.

I don't know if it was or not but in any case it is only OSHA mandate that is blocked.

He's just using the total number of deaths reported in VAERS in association with the COVID vaccine. Which is an incorrect usage of the data, but when has that ever stopped anyone.
