Oh, and apples were first cultivated in Kazakstan.
That's pretty neat.

According to Wikipedia, they came from the Malus sieversii which, guess what? are apples.

And how is it that Kazakstan existed before the Flood?

There is a continuous string of fossils that starts around 3 BILLION years ago.
Really? All I see in the natural history museum is strategically place arrows between discrete fossils bits accompanied by highly imaginative drawings. Where's the evidence for those strategically placed arrows?

Since"the flood" never happened anything that's real has existed before it. McDonald's existed before "the flood." Strange way of seeking to date something...

What were you doing in a natural history museum? Tell the truth... you're just looking at pictures wishing you could go.

Just FYI, I Googled "where do apples come from in the fossil record" and, instead of getting a one-sentence specific answer, I got a history of how "wild apples" came from Europe and ... well ... everything but what I asked for?

This junk might work in a college setting, where college students have to "know" this so they can pass the course; but it doesn't work with me.

I'm not obligated to know this stuff.

And believe me, you're demonstrating that you don't either.

Had you known, you'd have salted your replies with pictures, links, theses, maps, charts, diagrams, and whatever other propaganda that exists on these apples.

God created apples in 4004 BC, and I challenge you to find their immediate fathers.
Lol

This reminds me of Bush’s “it’s hard work” statement.

Imagine googling something only to get an answer you don’t like and can’t understand.

List your toughest question(s) here.
What is the difference between the Theory of Evolution and myth?

Answer: Some myths might be true.

NB: The peppered moth problem. Refuted in 2012 ...

Researchers used specimens pinned on a tree bark (or photographs of thereof), or images copy-pasted onto a tree bark image, in body orientations chosen by the experimenter based on the knowledge on how the moths position their bodies ...
... but still proclaimed as sound textbook evidence in 2018.

Of these, industrial melanism in the peppered moth is one of the most famous textbook examples of evolution in action.

Wow, another mind-reader! The museum sent me a flyer advertising a seminar on: "Where Those Arrows Come From". Sadly, when I got there, the note on the board read, "Sorry. Seminar canceled due to lack of evidence."

Really? All I see in the natural history museum is strategically placed arrows between discrete fossils bits accompanied by highly imaginative drawings. Where's the evidence for those strategically placed arrows?

First, do you accept that there is a temporal succession of fossils, i.e. that Silurian genera of trilobites did not live at the same time as Cambrian genera of trilobites and that Pliocene apes such as Australopithecus did not live at the same time as Miocene apes such as Proconsul and Dryopithecus?

Second, do you accept that all living things have a continuous string of ancestors (parents, grandparents, great-grandparents?) extending indefinitely far into the past rather than having been made individually in a factory and let loose into the world?

If your answer to these two questions is 'Yes', then you ought to be able to understand that Silurian genera of trilobites must have been descended by the ordinary process of reproduction from Cambrian genera of trilobites, and that Pliocene apes such as Australopithecus must have been descended from Miocene apes (and from Oligocene and Eocene primates that were not apes).

As a third question, how old do you think the Earth is?

The level of dishonesty you'll reach is astounding. The researchers capture moths and pin them to a tree to get a picture and from that you claim the entire Theory of Evolution is false.

Since all those paintings of Jesus are of a white guy we can then safely assume your entire religion is false. Right?

^_^ I have to admit, that made me chuckle.

Did they sell the double yak burger and called it the "Yakety Yak"?

Is this the best you can do?

The first article discusses that moth behaviour is a factor in their ability to survive.

“Our study demonstrates that the evolution of morphological adaptations, such as colour pattern of moths, cannot be fully understood without taking into account a behavioural phenotype that coevolved with the morphology for increasing the adaptive value of the morphological trait.”

How does that refute the idea, discussed in your second article, that ““findings confirm the conventional story put forward by early evolutionary biologists — that changes in the frequency of dark and pale peppered moths were driven by changes in pollution and camouflage.”

What exactly are you taking issue with?

There are famous pictures of these moths that it was discovered were staged. From that they have decided that the entire Theory of Evolution is false. If you've ever tried to take a picture of a moth or a butterfly you might understand the entire thing is a venture in futility. They do not sit still upon command. So nailing one to a tree to better outline the specific narrative isn't falsifying anything.

Welcome to the creationist mindset.

Cheers Phred. Don’t worry, I’ve heard that old chestnut many times over the years. It just seemed weird that our friend there should mention it and then post two articles that discuss various factors involved in moth evolution as if there was some sort of problem.
