I agree with your first part, not the last.

Those kinds of claims make it seem like those refusing the shots don't care about anyone but themselves.

How about simply this. Those that want it, vulnerable family members for example.... make the choice to get vaccinated or not... IF they are so concerned.

After all, IF you are immune (the point of a vaccine) then why do you care if Im not?

I mean the vaccine either works.... or it doesnt and this stance of "I care more" is just an excuse to look down on others.

My mother and her husband got the vaccine. They know my wife and I have no intention of getting one..... they invite us over... or they dont.

I dont go over to my mothers on an invite, cough in her face or even venture near anyone if I dont feel 100%.

I have worn 3 masks since back in the day when Fauci told us to wear none. Even in the heat of Texas summer, just as a precaution while at work.... so... I laugh at anyone on a high horse implying that allowing someone to stick a needle in your arm makes you morally superior or "care more" about your family or strangers.

If someone wants it, by all means, get one. Don't try to force one on me, either by ridicule nor by mandate.

Considering I said I have been wearing three, not sure if I can explain math to you... 3 is more than 0 but the only other ways to illustrate this,:

Funny you said nothing about masks until after my post mentioned them..you posted plenty before, nothing, but the very next post

I only wore the masks (other than the fact that I do need to eat), because it makes the people around you more comfortable (which is a harmless way of being a better citizen towards your fellow man), even though I believe that statistically there is no evidence they worked to slow the spread of COVID-19. The waves of infection were the same as they are for any other virus that spreads through the population, and were no different for countries with mask mandates or those without.

That being said, the same statistical analysis tells me that they probably worked immensely well for the normal flu season virus, due to the fact that the flu season was one of the lightest on record.

The vaccine (Moderna) had about the same effect for me on both shots, which were a sore arm, and weird feelings like some of my muscles were cramping up the next day. Overall, they were mild and were gone by the end of the day.

got one & done J&J on Saturday
no side effects, not even a sore arm

daughter got 1st Pfizer, her arm was a little sore

I still only have God to blame for my current health. But I may still have to get the vaccine because of social pressures.... But hopefully I will remember to continue to blame God for my health, after the shot.

We are talking about health here. Not blaming God for sickness. And remember this..... If you ever go to Japan.....And if you are able to speak Japanese.....It would be best to speak Japanese while you are there..... Do not try to join a Japanese conversation, speaking english....as most would/may not understand you.

There is a natural, religious and spiritual way of viewing all things.........Which language I speak, depends on the language being spoken when I enter the conversation.

Yes I agree that if someone is sick, it means that they are not in perfect health.

I would share with you my degrees and work experience, but i do not wish for you to think that I feel my words should be valued above yours......nor do i wish to make you stop feeling that you are more knowledgeable than i am.

I will say, however, that it is my knowledge of God that makes me speak the way I do.....not anything I've learned in my many colleges and work institutions.

Actually, I do not know the gender or race of the groups of letters that form the usernames......nor do I assume them...or take that into account at all. Never even thought to check the gender of ones behind the words I read.

Your comments, most likely stems from your disdain for men, and not your perceived knowledge of the opposite.

In Christ, there is neither male nor female...didnt know I would need to state that here.

Does this mean that you feel that all women who disdain men, have no brothers, fathers, sons, or husbands? Or uncles???

I fail to see how your having a husband makes this a funny notion.

And what other reasons would one assume that a poster knows there gender and is speaking to them through a gender lens? Why else would one see a gender bias here, When I haven't, even though I joined years before them?

Maybe these should be pondered internally.
