The Testament is what Jesus gave us for our Salvation and how we should live. Its all in the Book we call the New Testament. So what's the net end result difference between the two?
Matthew 24:31 is after the great tribulation is over. Then the call will go out to every faithful Christian to travel to and live in all of the holy Land. As Isaiah 35 describes, Isaiah 66:18b-21 and Psalms 107, +, tell about this great Second Exodus.
During the 1000 year Millennial reign of Christ,
National Israel's destiny will be on Earth, so yes, they will reign with Christ for a thousand years on Earth (Matthew 5:5 , Zechariah 8).
The 12 apostles were promised 12 thrones and they will be judging the 12 tribes of Israel then (Luke 22:28-30, Matthew 19:28).
I always find it interesting that no one I have encountered so far in discussion forums, will try to claim this promise for themselves, although they will claim almost everything else.
But for us in the Body of Christ who are saved under the gospel of grace, we will be reigning in Heaven with Christ. (1 Corinthians 6:3, Ephesians 1:3).
Paul our apostle, actually told us we will be judging fallen angels (1 Corinthians 6:3), I believe we will be replacing the fallen angels then.
In this brilliant way, God's promise to Abraham, in Genesis 22:17, is being fulfilled:
- National Israel, which represents his circumcised descendants as the sand of the Earth
- The Body of Christ, which represents his uncircumcised descendants as the stars of heaven. (Galatians 3:7-9)
So this has to do with all the differing views of millennialism and dispensationalism.
So the net end result is that we will reign with Christ.
Yes, but can you now understand why the Body of Christ has a separate destiny from the nation Israel, although both will reign with Christ?

What I'm seeing is that straight off the Body of Christ will reign with Christ in heaven, while the nation of Israel reigns with Christ on Earth for 1000 years - and then after that 1000 years, the nation of Israel will join the Body of Christ in reigning with Christ in heaven.
There is no separate destiny.
There is only one Chosen People of God.
They are His Church, identified solely and exclusively by two spiritual genes.
Faith and obedience.
Nothing else.
When Jesus returns, He returns with His raptured/resurrected saints who will be in their eternal incorruptible bodies who will have access to both heaven and earth during the thousand years. i.e. not limited to being here on earth. What I'm seeing is that straight off the Body of Christ will reign with Christ in heaven, while the nation of Israel reigns with Christ on Earth for 1000 years - and then after that 1000 years, the nation of Israel will join the Body of Christ in reigning with Christ in heaven.
I have presented scriptures for all my points.
If you have a different interpretation, feel free to quote those scriptures and share them.
Otherwise, you can believe whatever you want.

Yes, there is neither Jew nor Gentile in the Body of Christ.
I didn't mean it to be personal.
Just know that Daniel 12:10 says that only a few people will understand the prophesies. Do you want to be one of them? I do.
Yes. The point of the OP was to show people how the end times will unfold. First the terrible Day of the Lord's fiery wrath, which will change the world and clear the Middle East region. God's solution to the ME crisis!

There we will be the people God always wanted in His Land, His witnesses, Isaiah 43:8-10, John 15:27 and His Light to the nations, Isaiah 49:3-8, Matthew 5:14-16
Jesus will make the new Covenant with us then; for our peace and prosperity, and He does keep it, when the Gog army attacks.
But 'many' - Daniel 9:27 will violate it; Daniel 11:32, Isaiah 28:14-15, and the Lord will allow us to be conquered.
This is proved by Daniel 7:25 and Revelation 13:7, God's holy people are present in the holy Land when the 'beast' conquers them. Zechariah 14:1-2 Half will be taken to a place of safety and half must remain. Revelation 12:14 & 17
1260 days later; Jesus will Return and wipe out all the rest of the godless peoples at Armageddon.
The great white throne judgment will have taken place and the new heaven, new earth, new Jerusalem created and it appears that everyone will be in their eternal bodies. Revelation 21 and the beginning of Revelation 22, have to some things in them that to me (and I think others) are not totally understood - before you launch onto a big argument .And what about the nation of Israel after the 1000 years?
Well you could be right, after Satan is permanently thrown into the lake of fire at the end that short deception after the 1000 years (Revelation 20:7-8), who knows what will happen then. =)
What I meant is that's what I interpreted you saying or leading up to. When I was young I was all into the end times and trying to figure out Revelation etc . But I lost interest in that persuit in later years. The only thing I was arguing is whether or not the NT has verses that say "new covenant".
