Harvard students seek to revoke Trump graduates’ diplomas after Capitol Hill violence

What is wrong with these people? Why are the Left so sanctimonious, intolerant of others, and downright vindictive? How long until they drop all pretences, and simply call for people they don't approve of to be imprisoned in gulags? Don't they realise that maintaining 100% purity is almost impossible, and at some point almost all of them will transgress, and be eaten by their own?

It should be interesting to see how the University responds to this demand by a small group of its students...to declaring its own degrees conditionally or, at best, temporarily valid.

You want to complain about vindictiveness and intolerance? Trump has fired numerous people for daring to hold him accountable or even just failing to go along with his asinine schemes. One of those fraudulent schemes prompted folks on your side to march to and storm the Capitol, erect a noose, and chant "Hang Mike Pence" - all for doing nothing more than his sworn constitutional duty.

Seriously, the level of hypocrisy and lack of self-awareness on your side, complaining about maltreatment after this latest round of stunts, is really off the charts.

I fully understand that Trump supporters are just dying to do some feel-good finger pointing after watching their movement culminate (hopefully) in the populo-fascist debacle at the Capitol. So I'm willing to cut a little slack if it helps with the cooling down process.

I'm not. I want to see their terribleness in all its glory, so they can't hide behind any self-righteous lies anymore.

The self righteous have always been a threat to mankind regardless of which political side of the fence they inhabit. Perhaps they will revive the burnings and drowning prescribed by righteous forces in centuries past.

Thankfully we are seeing that on both sides. Time for the wise to refrain from enabling either and take back the nation. But the majority likes divisiveness, taking sides and playing games. They reap what they sow and that shall be their only reward.

As I understand it, Harvard students want any Harvard alumni who have worked with/for Donald Trump to have their diplomas revoked.

There are laws in civilised countries, and if you break them you can expect punishment, but being of the wrong political inclination is not, and should not, be a crime. Why do people on the Left so often seem to want to create some kind of para-legal, and para-judicial system for punishing those that they disagree with? You can call them idiots, or stupid, but I think that's a rather lazy and inadequate argument for something that keeps cropping up again and again.
