His policies are and were far less destructive to both the country and Constitution than whats coming down the pipe. The destruction of unborn life, of liberty, the robbery of the fruits of our labors, and the 1st and 2nd amendments are all on the block, and the oncoming administration has raised her axe. Can anyone stop it?
the second amendment isn't on the block. Gun laws have only grown more lax as time has gone on. Trump was as much a danger to gun rights as any president. Remember when he wanted to take them without any due process.

I don't know where you are seeing attacks on the 1st either, a peep hasn't been made about that. As for stealing the fruits of our labors, again, look to trump who took our money to give to billionaires.

I am loyal to Christ, my country, and the Constitution. Those who will champion these three things have my support. Those who wish to denounce any of these three do not.
Trump won't champion any of those. He only champions Trump. He will bleat on about those things, but discard them when they become inconvenient.

What about the irreparable harm to the integrity of the evangelical Christian movement? What of Trump's unrelenting lies in the past three months about the laws governing election law? The Trump bus running over Mike Pence?

This is simply not true:

Joe Biden's Plan to End Gun Violence | Joe Biden for President

All these bills are 2A infringements. Please don't act like they care about our Constitution when they are blatantly and deliberately attacking it. These pass, and the only people with the ability to defend themselves will be criminals and police.

Welcome to the 117th Congress: 2A Rights Under Attack - The Truth About Guns

Attacks on the 1st is coming from the DNC-supporting big tech companies. Twitter suspends the account of a sitting President, then Amazon shuts down parler, GoDaddy boots ar15.com, and we are to receive these attacks as what exactly? Business as usual? No no no.

Explain how a private, for-profit corporation can infringe our 1st amendment rights?

Maybe it was trumps blatant and destructive racism . His disgusting and harmful misogyny, and championing of pseudoscience around medical and science issues, the seriously incompetent way he handled some international issues, the less than useless help states and territories got during environmental catastrophes, and the stupid lies about and mishandling of a pandemic that had already devastated other countries . The fact that he was an ignorant boor was the least reason I had for not voting for him

And people still trust and believe him. That is why I am pessimistic about America.

The first Amendment is about free speech being allowed and no punishment from the government.

Companies aren't required to allow people to amplify their speech on their platforms. Essentially every platform (including where we're posting right now) has the obligation to monitor and regulate the content on their platform. "Big tech" companies removing people that don't comply with their Terms of Service isn't impeding free speech.

True. Joe Biden is as middle of the road as the white stripes on the pavement. But some of our conservative friends are so far on the right, they can’t even see the middle. And their fear of what they don’t, or won’t see, verges on paranoia.

You are absolutely right and again the matter is not "what" they did, but "how" they did it.

It seems to me that all of this is the dems trying to take away the republicans right to opinions and maybe rights all together.
What right? It seems to me, that Republicans try to everyone's rights away. And let not forget Republicans greed.

12.6% in the poll stay with him;
only 6.9% have had enough.

To the 12.6%, what will it take.

This poll is a tiny sample, but that’s a great number. I would’ve expected to see a much larger percentage of Trump die-hards. It would be tremendously reassuring if more than 87% of posters on any internet discussion forum demonstrated similar rational and coherent thinking.

To be fair, I think about one-third to a half of Trump voters are saying that the riot in the Capitol is wrong. I'm on another forum, not a political board that still ends up with political posts, and the majority there are Conservative Republicans. Most of them voted for Trump (though some admit to holding their nose to vote for him) and most of them now speak out about the violence and that it is wrong.

I do think it is likely no more than 40 million that are trying to "justify" the break in at the Capitol, that most other Republicans are embarrassed by Trump's actions over the last month.

Thanks for the email. last night I was watching Tucker Carlson’s monologue , first 30 second denouncing those who attacked the congress, then 50% of his monologue time he attacked democrat and labeled them the real insurrectionist, then he gave up all his conservative value and became a liberal socialist, converted to Sen. Elizabeth warren’s supporter and start attacking all the companies who withdraw support from GOP lawmaker or social media Parler.

Since my last post which you replied , just in this thread , trump supporter denounce the violence on Jan 6, and next sentence talk about voter fraud. In another word them denouncing violence meaning nothing , when they go back to same lies.

I hope you are right that at least 35 millions Trump supporters no longer support him. That still keeps 40 millions Americans who don’t believe in democracy,

What right? It seems to me, that Republicans try to everyone's rights away. And let not forget Republicans greed.

Which rights?

Phrases like "eat the rich," "wealth gap," "wage disparity" don't come from the GOP, and for good reason. Worrying and concerning one's self with what other people have to try to find ways to take it from them is called "coveting." God warns Christians not to do this:

Exodus 20:17
“You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his male or female servant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.”

Micah 2:2
They covet fields and seize them, and houses, and take them. They defraud people of their homes, they rob them of their inheritance.

James 4:2
You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God.

It's not so much greed, as it is not concerning yourself with what others have.

I would point out that Republicans have lost a ton of ground specifically because of their deference to Trump all these years. You’d at least still have control of the Senate were it not for his election rhetoric. Any chance you might have had to hold off the Democrats for an election cycle has been squandered by Trump. You might argue his policies were good for the country, I’d disagree with that but what can’t be ignored is his personality has been absolutely toxic to everyone and everything that’s come in contact with it. It’s why we teach young schoolchildren that character counts in life.

Nope...the GOP never had a chance, rhetoric or not.
Donald Trump did what no Democrat has done in over a decade: Lose the House, Lose the Senate and lose the Presidency.
