That’s asking for trouble. There’s that pesky paragraph 2 of Article VI in the Constitution:

This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any state to the Contrary notwithstanding.

This is the Supremacy Clause. If there is a conflict, federal laws and court decisions override those of the states. Any state official who willfully violates or ignores this is potentially committing a federal crime. You may remember the county clerk in KY who refused to sign off on marriage licenses for same sex couples. You can say she was standing up for her values. But her civil disobedience only got her arrested and imprisoned until the state changed its policy on who can sign a valid license. And in the end, same sex couples were legally married in KY.

State officials may create some political theater and rouse up their base of supporters by challenging federal laws. But it’s just for show. Ultimately, the feds will prevail.

By pretending that the war was about slavery and preservation of the Union, when it was really about achieving economic and cultural domination in order to destroy the noble and gracious Southern Way of Life of which they were insanely jealous. Anyway, the North must have cheated because the South lost--just like the Democrats must have cheated in the 2020 election because Trump lost.

There is a massive amount of evidence that Democrats violated the law, there are one thousand sworn depositions as compared to an anonymous source supporting a 3 year investigation into fake Russian collusion. I think the workers in Georgia who were caught on video should be given a last chance to speak before the Georgia legislature. If they take the 5th so be it, the legislature should then choose new electors. Other legislatures need to stand up as well.
