I believe the USA and most of the world are under God's wrath and judgment. The worst might be yet to come. Personally, we shelter in place and forego all outside personal contact and marvel at how God drags people into infectious and self-destructive situations.

Actually cats teach us patience. Before I got my kitties I could get up two flights of steps in a minute or two. Now my big guy gets ahead of me a lays down, demanding attention. After I pet him for awhile and step over him, he runs ahead of me, lays down and demands more attention. It can easily take me 15 minutes to get up two flights of steps.

Has nothing to do with what God is teaching.

"sign of the times"? As in the world is closer and closer to , or more and more like, "as in the days of Noah" .... when only eight souls were saved.

He is a great guy. Actually both my cats are wonderful. My little girl is the one who hops up in bed and wakes me almost every night at about 2:00 am. We have a little petting fest, then we both go to sleep. We wake up every morning at about the same time looking at each other with our faces just a couple inches apart.

Speaking for myself, God is teaching me patience. Though not with the examples in the OP.

I believe this whole pandemic is teaching us all patience.

Patience is often learned from going through long term trials and sufferings. Standing in long lines is an annoyance. But I doubt it's a lesson in patience.

The question you asked was .."Is God teaching us patience". Perhaps my answer should have been, 'I doubt that standing in long lines is a lesson in patience from God.

When the apostle Paul asked the Lord to remove the affliction from his body, the Lord answered him and said.. "My Grace is sufficient". That was a lesson from the Lord in patience. And along with patience, came humility.
