Suggestions for Forums, Sites, Groups to Interact with Orthodox Christians

Yes, it's fairly well-moderated as well to keep people polite and not allow people to question the faith of others.

Conversation is a dying art on the Internet. I also am sick of CF today. But there's little else.

The Orthodox subreddit used to be where I went. But, I trust CF more.

I am a part of “Traditional Eastern Orthodox Christianity(Tradox)” on FB, but that’s it. I recommend that group.

You have to be careful with FB. I get good convo and edifying stuff there, but there’s also stuff that should not be posted. (Groups in general, not a specific one)

There are great non-Orthodox posters on CF, which is part of the draw. A large part. But maybe some savvy person should create a new forum.

Someone tried - twice in fact that I recall. One an Orthodox forum and one a bit broader. Some folks from CF joined. It didn’t seem to get a lot of traction.

I wish I had been more involved for some that quit posting here that are there. But I just haven’t had time for additional forums.

There was an older one too that seemed to be really good, but they stopped doing the housekeeping work on it years ago so I could never get approved to join. There was still some trickle of posts last time I was there, maybe a couple of years ago. (Orthodox only)

And there’s at least one other that was fairly active, mostly Orthodox (allowing visitors). But it was - I don’t know. Not tightly moderated? The tone was often not good. Some great folks and great info, but a lot to wade through as well. Kind of like FB in that regard.

Thanks, @~Anastasia~ . I said this because it seems some posters are displeased by being "under" non-Orthodox mods. I thought if that sentiment was widespread, another forum might be a good idea. Maybe it's not going to work out
