Capitalism's moral bar is a lot lower than Christian charity and Community. <snip>
Capitalism's so-called "moral bar" is no different than socialism's "moral bar" or communism's "moral bar" or [fill in any ism]'s "moral bar." They all have, in fact the same "moral bar" - human nature.

So it's intellectually dishonest to single out capitalism's "moral bar" as being somehow lower than any other "moral bar" - especially these days, where it's become so popular to diss capitalism in favor of far worse systems, like socialism or communism - the totally bizarre belief being they're somehow NOT thoroughly enamored with abject lust for money, wealth, and power.

yes certainly communism can't bring about a Utopia because they exist in the confines of Fallen Human Nature. they are concerned about their jobs just like everyone else is concerned about their jobs. They're all part of this Fallen World but I prefer the strange government of my own country. Too many Chinese and Russians have died for me to want to think about communism as an alternative. Christian charity and Community though, that would be a true miracle in the world. It's not going to happen either, at least not anytime soon imo.

all capitalist countries are partially socialist as far as I know. A blend of capitalism and socialism is about the best the world has right now. In the usa both major sides of the political Spectrum tend to agree on certain socialist aspects of our country such as Social Security. I haven't heard about Venezuela in a long time but they seemed like they were going through hell.

I admit that I'm somewhat envious of some of those tiny European countries that give everyone a basic universal income but they should stop criticizing the rest of the world because I'm pretty sure Germany or Russia would have crushed them long ago without their friends to back them up.

"What is the source of quarrels and conflicts among you? Is not the source your pleasures that wage war in your members? You lust and do not have; so you commit murder. You are envious and cannot obtain; so you fight and quarrel. You do not have because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures." (James 4:1ff)

Lacking money is no excuse for lawlessness, no excuse for committing crime and evil.
Not an excuse, a reason.
