Think I messed up again

I had been having intrusive thoughts about worshipping the beast because in the bible it says whoever worships the beast will drink the full cup of God's wrath. I was saying continually "I worship the Lord my God" to counter these bad thoughts.

Then I had one of those thoughts and said "Yes, I worship the Lord my God" and I got this bad feeling like I did something wrong. Obviously what I meant was that I worship the Lord my God Jesus Christ. I did NOT mean that Jesus is the beast or anything like that, or that I worship the beast.

Every idle word will be judged but since God is a discerner of thoughts and intents of the heart, I really hope this is not it for me!

I think real believers are becoming more sensitive to spiritual attacks.
Don't worry you are Not Alone.
Pray and if you have to seek a Doctor and or Godly counsel.

I tried to go to a few churches and the pastors there laughed at me. They even insulted me.

Job just keep rebuking those thoughts. They are not yours and God knows your intentions and motives. I understand sometimes those intrusive thoughts would cause u to think even further into it. Try to stop yourself and distract your mind with another thought. Even if it's to look at an object and say out loud...kitchen spoon. It will distract the mind till u gain control of it again. Hope this helps!

I'm not versed in scripture as some of u are...but this is another good idea. I used that other option as an example because what if the accusing thought is really what I'm guilty of in the past? The purpose of these thoughts is to live a continual defeated and condemned existence. I'm thinking id have to be a walking, breathing bible to overcome each accusation which is not necessarily a bad thing. Maybe I'd get there someday...who knows. I was just suggesting a quick fix to divert the mind. Hopefully to something positive.

No I didn't directly tell them I have intrusive thoughts. I think they did that because they didn't want me to find love.

No Christian will be judged for anything. Christ’s blood covers all! Live in freedom my friend Jesus paid for it

There is no reason to worry about anything, we are not fearful creatures. We have been given a spirit of courage. Like GaveMeJoy says, Jesus paid for it.
