Still nothing about listening to the words of the prophets:

(New Testament | Luke 16:29 - 31)

29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

Moses I listen to or believe in his Words as a true prophet of God.

Joseph Smith? Nahh-or not anymore

I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God.

I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God.
You do not know these things. You have Faith in these things.

Did you see God and positively identified Him as God and saw Him personally give the BoM to Joseph Smith?

It has been proven to me through my diligence in the search for truth. I am grateful that I found it.

(New Testament | Matthew 6:33)

33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

And this verse proves to you that you can KNOW something? Joseph Smith was a true prophet or the BoM is supposedly true?

No, but this is how I found the proof through diligently seeking it.

And yet Mormons arrogantly say "I know these things"

Skip the Faith part and go with the "I knows"

You simply have a blind Faith, where you claim you know Joseph Smith was a prophet and the BoM is true with all its' contradictions and the changes that have been made to it.

When a person knows something, they know it. I will continue to know it because it has beem proven to me. Do you know God exists?

Yes and I Trust in His Word. But as to false beliefs like Joseph Smith is a prophet and the BoM is true is based on beliefs, not facts.

See, if anyone disagrees with a Mormons in their beliefs, you are essentially telling them they are wrong when you say "I know that my prophet and the BoM is true" Truth does not work that way as to beliefs that are nothing more than opinions.

So you are telling atheists that they are wrong when you say that you know there is a God. Now you are telling me I am wrong to tell you what I know to be true. Do you not see the hypocrisy here?

Hipocracy? Please.

You asked if I know God is real and I answered in the affirmative. Romans 1:19-21 is a good way to prove it to an atheist--from the only word of God--the Bible.
In that you tried comparing it to the fact the "you know Joseph Smith is a true prophet" and "you know the BoM is true".----nothing about God we are supposed to worship and of course God is the Author of all truth.

Since a huge majority of Christianity disagrees with your "I knows", these "I knows" become an opinion with a bit of faith attached. You only think you know.

Maybe I should ask you--- "Do you know God is real?"

Yes, God is real and the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I have been given proof of these things. And I am not the only one. Several people who have had near death experiences have also been given proof.

So, I have been given abundant proof that the BoM is not real and your prophet is one of these:

Matthew 24:11
Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.

We are at an impasse here--you have convinced me of nothing, except that the Mormon doctrines I found to be false still carry on in people like you.

(New Testament | Matthew 13:14 - 15)

14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:
15 For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

Uh, that set of verses is about Mormons. There is no prophecy about a make believe BoM and nothing about a prophet arising in the latter days----except warnings about false prophets arising from Christ later in the Book of Matthew.

Let us put it this way--when you say you in the ONLY True Church and the rest of us are supposedly following an Apostacy--- that puts us a definite odds.

(New Testament | 2 Timothy 3:1 - 5)

1 THIS know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

Jesus did not come to destroy the law or the prophets:

(New Testament | Matthew 5:17)

17 ¶ Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

And how could He fulfil the law and the prophets then-in a time that is in the future? Like 1830?

You are imagining a whole different rewording of that verse.

We still have Christ's higher law and we have prophets of God. Jesus did not get rid of the law or the prophets. And we are part of those perilous times now and need now more than ever for God to speak to us through His servants the Prophets.
