You keep trying go around in circles.
The 4th commandment has not been abolished.
There is no going around in circles. Your questions have been answered with God's WORD. You are correct however though brother. There is no scripture that says God's 4th Commandment has been abolished and we are now commanded to keep Sunday as a Holy day. Thanks for being honest here.

If there is no scripture that says God's 4th commandment which is one of God's 10 commandments in the NEW COVENANT that give us a knowledge of what SIN is when broken and there is no scripture that says Sunday is a Holy day; why do many follow the the teachings and traditions of men that break the commandments of God when JESUS says all those who knowingly do so are not following God?

Something to think about.

Hope this helps.

How was anything made up when I have only posted exactly what you said and my response to what you posted? Seems pretty true to me. I used your own words not mine.

WHAT IS NOT LAWFUL ON GOD'S SABBATH?

WORK; all business and secular work as well as any domestic work; cooking, cleaning; shopping, buying and selling that can be done on any other day of the week and anything to do with work (Exodus 20:8-11; Ex 16:22-23; Matt 21:13).

Matthew 21:13 does not mention nor forbid buying or selling or shopping, or cooking or cleaning or domestic work or any other work, on the Sabbath.

Here is what Matthew 21:13 says -

And He said to them, “It is written, My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a den of thieves.’ ”
Matthew 21:13

Please post the whole scripture not just a scripture reference that actually addresses my question.

What constitutes sin today concerning the Sabbath?

Is it a sin to travel a certain distance to Church?

Can we cook on the Sabbath?

Can we clean our Church on the Sabbath?

The ministers who work at the Church, are they in sin for working on the Sabbath?

If we have to travel to the Hospital for an emergency on the Sabbath, is it a sin?

If we attend Church on Sunday, rather than Saturday is it a sin?

Why would I need to try again brother :).

Your post has already been addressed with a detailed scripture response answered here click me. Did you want to respond?

Why would you think MATTHEW 21:13 has anything to do with buying and selling? If no one has told you that MATTHEW 21:13 has anything to do with buying and selling why pretend that this is what has been posted to you?

Now brother I have already answered your questions and you have agreed with me that there is no scripture in all of God's WORD that says God's 4th commandment has been abolished and we are now commanded to keep Sunday as a Holy day right?

So, if there is no scripture that says God's 4th commandment which is one of God's 10 commandments in the NEW COVENANT that give us a knowledge of what SIN is when broken and there is no scripture that says Sunday is a Holy day; why do many follow the the teachings and traditions of men that break the commandments of God when JESUS says all those who knowingly do so are not following God?

Look forward to your thoughts.

Are there are two different sets of commandments in the verse below?

Joh 15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

The New Covenant is a higher standard than the Old Covenant, not for our salvation, but for our conduct.

Christ contrasts the
two covenants below with the words “But I say…”

Mat 5:21 "You have heard that it was said to those of old, 'YOU SHALL NOT MURDER, and whoever murders will be in danger of the judgment.'
Mat 5:22 But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment. And whoever says to his brother, 'Raca!' shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says, 'You fool!' shall be in danger of hell fire.
Mat 5:23 Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you,
Mat 5:24 leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.
Mat 5:25 Agree with your adversary quickly, while you are on the way with him, lest your adversary deliver you to the judge, the judge hand you over to the officer, and you be thrown into prison.
Mat 5:26 Assuredly, I say to you, you will by no means get out of there till you have paid the last penny.

Mat 5:27 "You have heard that it was said to those of old, 'YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY.'
Mat 5:28 But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
Mat 5:29 If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.
Mat 5:30 And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.

Mat 5:31 "Furthermore it has been said, 'Whoever divorces his wife, let him give her a certificate of divorce.'
Mat 5:32 But I say to you that whoever divorces his wife for any reason except sexual immorality causes her to commit adultery; and whoever marries a woman who is divorced commits adultery.

Mat 5:33 "Again you have heard that it was said to those of old, 'You shall not swear falsely, but shall perform your oaths to the Lord.'
Mat 5:34 But I say to you, do not swear at all: neither by heaven, for it is God's throne;
Mat 5:35 nor by the earth, for it is His footstool; nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King.
Mat 5:36 Nor shall you swear by your head, because you cannot make one hair white or black.
Mat 5:37 But let your 'Yes' be 'Yes,' and your 'No,' 'No.' For whatever is more than these is from the evil one.

Mat 5:38 "You have heard that it was said, 'AN EYE FOR AN EYE AND A TOOTH FOR A TOOTH.'
Mat 5:39 But I tell you not to resist an evil person. But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also.
Mat 5:40 If anyone wants to sue you and take away your tunic, let him have your cloak also.
Mat 5:41 And whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two.
Mat 5:42 Give to him who asks you, and from him who wants to borrow from you do not turn away.

Mat 5:43 "You have heard that it was said, 'YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR and hate your enemy.'
Mat 5:44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,
Mat 5:45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.
Mat 5:46 For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?
Mat 5:47 And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors do so?
Mat 5:48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.

Confirmation of the contrast between the Old Covenant and New Covenant is found below.

2Co 3:6 who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
2Co 3:7 But if the ministry of death, written and engraved on stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of the glory of his countenance, which glory was passing away,
2Co 3:8 how will the ministry of the Spirit not be more glorious?
(Why did Paul compare the ten commandments to a ministry of death?)

Gal 4:24 which things are symbolic. For these are the two covenants: the one from Mount Sinai which gives birth to bondage, which is Hagar
Gal 4:25 for this Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and corresponds to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children—
Gal 4:26 but the Jerusalem above is free, which is the mother of us all.
Gal 4:27 For it is written: "REJOICE, O BARREN, YOU WHO DO NOT BEAR! BREAK FORTH AND SHOUT, YOU WHO ARE NOT IN LABOR! FOR THE DESOLATE HAS MANY MORE CHILDREN THAN SHE WHO HAS A HUSBAND."
Gal 4:28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are children of promise.
Gal 4:29 But, as he who was born according to the flesh then persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, even so it is now.
Gal 4:30 Nevertheless what does the Scripture say? "CAST OUT THE BONDWOMAN AND HER SON, FOR THE SON OF THE BONDWOMAN SHALL NOT BE HEIR WITH THE SON OF THE FREEWOMAN."
Gal 4:31 So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman but of the free.
(Why did Paul compel the Galatian believers to “cast out” the Sinai Covenant of “bondage”?)

Heb 7:12 For the priesthood being changed, of necessity there is also a change of the law.

Heb 8:6 But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, in as much as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises. (Was this written in the present tense during the first century?)
Heb 8:7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then no place would have been sought for a second.
Heb 8:8 Because finding fault with them, He says: "BEHOLD, THE DAYS ARE COMING, SAYS THE LORD, WHEN I WILL MAKE A NEW COVENANT WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL AND WITH THE HOUSE OF JUDAH—
Heb 8:9 NOT ACCORDING TO THE COVENANT THAT I MADE WITH THEIR FATHERS IN THE DAY WHEN I TOOK THEM BY THE HAND TO LEAD THEM OUT OF THE LAND OF EGYPT; BECAUSE THEY DID NOT CONTINUE IN MY COVENANT, AND I DISREGARDED THEM, SAYS THE LORD.
Heb 8:10 FOR THIS IS THE COVENANT THAT I WILL MAKE WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL AFTER THOSE DAYS, SAYS THE LORD: I WILL PUT MY LAWS IN THEIR MIND AND WRITE THEM ON THEIR HEARTS; AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE.
Heb 8:11 NONE OF THEM SHALL TEACH HIS NEIGHBOR, AND NONE HIS BROTHER, SAYING, 'KNOW THE LORD,' FOR ALL SHALL KNOW ME, FROM THE LEAST OF THEM TO THE GREATEST OF THEM.
Heb 8:12 FOR I WILL BE MERCIFUL TO THEIR UNRIGHTEOUSNESS, AND THEIR SINS AND THEIR LAWLESS DEEDS I WILL REMEMBER NO MORE."
Heb 8:13 In that He says, "A NEW COVENANT," He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.
(Do you now ride a horse to church? Is that mode of transportation now "obsolete"?)

Heb 12:18 For you have not come to the mountain that may be touched and that burned with fire, and to blackness and darkness and tempest, (Are we come to Mount Sinai?)
Heb 12:19 and the sound of a trumpet and the voice of words, so that those who heard it begged that the word should not be spoken to them anymore.
Heb 12:20 (For they could not endure what was commanded: "AND IF SO MUCH AS A BEAST TOUCHES THE MOUNTAIN, IT SHALL BE STONED OR SHOT WITH AN ARROW."
Heb 12:21 And so terrifying was the sight that Moses said, "I AM EXCEEDINGLY AFRAID AND TREMBLING.")
Heb 12:22 But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels,
Heb 12:23 to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect, (Is this verse speaking of the “church” of Jesus Christ?)
Heb 12:24 to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel.
(Why does the text above say we are not come to Sinai, but are come to Mount Zion, instead?)

In Galatians 3:16-29 the Apostle Paul reveals the temporary nature of the Sinai Covenant. Paul said the law was “added” 430 years “after” the promise made to Abraham “until” the seed(Christ) could come to whom the promise was made.

1Co_16:2 Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.

.

For me I believe that the standard of God's LAW has always been the same. The interpretation of them however was lost however with mankind. God has always had his people that walked with Him from the heart *GENESIS 5:24; GENESIS 6:9; GENESIS 26:5; 1 KINGS 8:25 etc. The new covenant is moved from the tables of stone to the fleshly tables of the heart through the Spirit *HEBREWS 8:10; 1 CORINTHIANS 3:1-6; ROMANS 8:1-4; GALATIANS 5:16; JOHN 6:63; JOHN 8:31-36.

The new covenant is the promise of a new heart to love through the Spirit with God's LAW to be written on the heart *HEBREWS 8:10-12 from JEREMIAH 31:31-34.

JESUS came to magnify the LAW from the INSIDE OUT quoting MATTHEW 5:17-32 (thoughts and feelings) in fulfillment of *ISAIAH 42:21. This is to show that unless our RIGHTOUESNESS EXCEEDS the RIGHTOUESNESS of the Scribes and Pharisees we can in no way enter into the KINGDOM of HEAVEN. Jesus is saying the problem runs deeper then outward observance to the 10 Commandments. EVIL begins in the HEART. BREAKING GOD's 10 COMMANDMENTS from the heart defile a man *MATTHEW 15:18-19.

JESUS is saying we can be outwardly perfect and blameless like the Scribes and Pharisee but inwardly like dead mans bones *MATTHEW 23:27-28. JESUS magnified the LAW to the INSIDE OUT. To show us that we are all sinners in need of a Saviour and that sin originates in the HEART (thoughts and feelings). That is why we have the NEW COVENANT promise and need to be BORN AGAIN by Faith in God's WORD for salvation to be free from SIN (breaking any one of God's 10 commandments) *HEBREWS 8:10-12; 1 JOHN 3:3-10.

RIGHTESOUSNESS comes from LOVE because LOVE is the fulfilling of God's LAW and the very expression of what LOVE is *ROMANS 13:8-10. He that does not LOVE does not KNOW GOD for GOD IS LOVE * 1 JOHN 4:8. All those who are BORN AGAIN have a NEW HEART TO LOVE and FOLLOW GOD *1 JOHN 4:7. This is the NEW COVENANT promise *HEBREWS 8:10-12. Those who are BORN AGAIN do not practice SIN (breaking God's Commandments) *1 JOHN 3:4-9. This is why JOHN finishes on this subject by saying; For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous *1 JOHN 5:3 and is why JESUS says IF you LOVE me KEEP my commandments *JOHN 14:15. UNLESS we are BORN AGAIN under the NEW COVENANT to LOVE we will not enter the KINGDOM of HEAVEN *JOHN 3:3-7. We need to be changed from the INSIDE OUT.

If we are not BORN AGAIN into the NEW COVENANT promise and continue in it we will not enter the kingdom of Heaven *1 JOHN 2:3-4; 1 JOHN 2:3-4. ALL those who KNOWINGLY break any one of God's 10 commandments stand guilty before God of sin *JAMES 2:10-11. All those who KNOWINGLY CONTINUE in UNREPENTANT SIN will not enter into God's KINGDOM *HEBREWS 10:26-27 because they reject the gift of God's dear son *ROMANS 6:23.

God's 4th Commandment is one of the 10 Commandments that give us the KNOWLEDGE of what sin is. There is no such thing as the 9 commandments in God's WORD. The same as there is no scripure that says God's 4th commandment is Abolished and we are now commanded to keep Sunday as a Holy day.

God bless

As children of LIGHT, let us walk as children of LIGHT, in the LIGHT, all the time.

The time is past, the Master says, for walking as others walk, as we used to walk, as children of disobedience, far and farther from ToRAH like the enemy of Christ.
Walking in the darkness is not something to seek to do, ever, not even for a moment, no.

How can one break the Sabbath if it is not one of the the commandments God has given us through the new covenant? If anyone takes the time to study what the new covenant is about they would know it is not the old covenant warmed over.

How can we trust people that insist in putting a ten before the the word commandments in the New Testament trying to make us believe we are under the Sabbath command of the defunct old covenant.

JESUS came to magnify the LAW from the INSIDE OUT

For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, Ephesians 2:14-15

Do you believe abolishing the law of commandments contained in ordinances, somehow means ”magnify the law”?

The law of Moses was always temporary, having been added to the Abrahamic Covenant until the Seed, the Messiah, should come.

What purpose then does the law serve? It was added because of transgressions, till the Seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was appointed through angels by the hand of a mediator.
Galatians 3:19

no scripture that says Sunday is a Holy day;

You have me mixed up with someone else, as I never said Sunday was a holy day.

One person esteems one day above another; another esteems every day alike. Let each be fully convinced in his own mind.
Romans 14:5

This is what the New Testament says about days of the week.

So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths, which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ. Colossians 2:16-17

Here is what the New Testament says about Sabbaths.

Hope this helps.

His Commandments are about love, loving God and loving our neighbor.

These Sabbath keepers desire to teach the law of Moses, rather than the doctrine of Christ.

Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith, from which some, having strayed, have turned aside to idle talk, desiring to be teachers of the law, understanding neither what they say nor the things which they affirm. 1 Timothy 1:5-7

Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son. 2 John 9

The law keepers quote passages from the law of Moses, about the Sabbath because they don’t have anything from the Lord Jesus Christ or His Apostles concerning keeping the Sabbath.

When I ask him for specific instructions from Christ or His Apostles concerning how the Church is to observe the Sabbath under the New Covenant, he has none.

He just quotes from Moses.

For me I believe that the standard of God's LAW has always been the same.

Why was it called the law of Moses, and not God’s law?

Therefore be very courageous to keep and to do all that is written in the Book of the Law of Moses, lest you turn aside from it to the right hand or to the left, Joshua 23:6

If a man receives circumcision on the Sabbath, so that the law of Moses should not be broken, are you angry with Me because I made a man completely well on the Sabbath? Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.” John 7:23

Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins; and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses. Acts 13:38-39

How could anyone refute Eph 2:14-15???

The law of Moses was always temporary, having been added to the Abrahamic Covenant until the Seed, the Messiah, should come.
Ex 19:5 Now therefore, IF ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:

Israel didn't keep their part of the covenant now did they. What happens to an IF covenant that one party doesn't live up to??? Paul wrote in 2Cor 3:6-11 that it WAS done away. KJV

What purpose then does the law serve? It was added because of transgressions, till the Seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was appointed through angels by the hand of a mediator.

These Sabbath keepers desire to teach the law of Moses, rather than the doctrine of Christ.

For me I believe it is those who try to teach any part of God's LAW is abolished that are teaching another Gospel that is not the doctrine of Christ but one that is designed to lead the believer away from Christ and His Word. These only have a form of godliness but deny God's power to saved them from their sins *2 CORINTHIANS 11:4; 2 TIMOTHY 3:5. There is a simply test to know if someone is from God or not which is found in 1 JOHN 2:3-4. I believe according to the scriptures all those who continue in sin when they receive a knowledge of the truth reject JESUS and his Word and count the blood of the covenant an unholy thing *ACTS 17:30-31; HEBREWS 10:26-39

The law keepers quote passages from the law of Moses, about the Sabbath because they don’t have anything from the Lord Jesus Christ or His Apostles concerning keeping the Sabbath.

Every thing we have in the new testament scriptures come from the old testament scriptures. Everything I share here is from the new testament that has it's origin from the old testament scriptures. As you can see here the majority of the scriptures shared here are from the new testament so this section of your post is not based on any truth in my opinion. Only God's Word is true and we should believe and follow it over the teachings and traditions of men that break the commandments of God. SIN (breaking God's commandments) is the difference between the children of God and the children of the devil *1 JOHN 3:6-10; 1 JOHN 2:3-4

When I ask him for specific instructions from Christ or His Apostles concerning how the Church is to observe the Sabbath under the New Covenant, he has none. He just quotes from Moses.JLB

Sadly your making this up and not telling the truth....

HOW DO WE KEEP THE SABBATH?

WHAT DOES GOD'S 4TH COMMANDMENT SAY?

EXODUS 20:8-11
[8], Remember the SABBATH DAY, to KEEP IT HOLY. <Why?> Because God made it Holy for mankind and commands us to keep it as a Holy day)
[9], Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work:
[10], But the SEVENTH DAY IS THE SABBATH of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: <WHY>
[11], For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the SEVENTH DAY: wherefore the LORD BLESSED THE SABBATH, and HALLOWED IT.

WHAT DAY IS GOD'S SABBATH?

v10 The SEVENTH DAY of the week. (Saturday)

WHEN DOES THE SEVENTH DAY OF THE WEEK START?

GENESIS 1:4-5 [4], And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. [5], And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

A day in God's time is the night (darkness) and the light make up one day. The DAY in God's WORD starts at SUNSET and ends the following SUNSET. So God's 4th Commandment Sabbath would start Friday at SUNSET and end Saturday at SUNSET.

ALL UNECCESSARY WORK TO BE DONE BEFORE FRIDAY SUNSET

EXODUS 16:22-23 [22], And it came to pass, that on the sixth day they gathered twice as much bread, two omers for one man: and all the rulers of the congregation came and told Moses. [23], And he said to them, This is that which the LORD has said, To morrow is the rest of the holy sabbath to the LORD: bake that which you will bake to day, and seethe that you will seethe; and that which remains over lay up for you to be kept until the morning.

MARK 15:42, And now when the even was come, because it was the preparation, that is, the day before the sabbath

The preparation day is the 6th day of the week. This includes preparing to stop all business and secular work as well as any domestic work; cooking, cleaning; shopping, buying and selling that can be done on any other day of the week.

IT IS LAWFUL TO DO GOOD ON THE SABBATH?

MATTHEW 12:5-12 [5], Or have you not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless? [6], But I say to you, That in this place is one greater than the temple. [7], But if you had known what this means, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, you would not have condemned the guiltless. [8], For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day [9], And when he was departed from there, he went into their synagogue: [10], And, behold, there was a man who had his hand withered. And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days? that they might accuse him. [11], And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out? [12], How much then is a man better than a sheep? Therefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.

MARK 2:27, And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath

It is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.

WHAT IS LAWFUL ON GOD'S SABBATH?

1. Remembering the creator and his creation (Exod 20:8-11)
2. Rest from all unnecessary work (Ecodus 20:10-11)
3. Doing good (Matt 12:12)
4. Prayer (Acts 16:13; Matt 21:13)
5. Worship the creator (Isaiah 58:13-14; Ex 34:14; 1KING 9:6; Rev 14:6-12)

Song, praise, bible study, helping others, preaching the gospel, resting, prayer, seeking God, remembering the creator and his creation. Walking in nature, going to church with like minded believers. (too many scriptures)

WHAT IS NOT LAWFUL ON GOD'S SABBATH?

WORK; all business and secular work as well as any domestic work; cooking, cleaning; shopping, buying and selling that can be done on any other day of the week and anything to do with work (Exodus 20:8-11; Ex 16:22-23; Matt 21:13).

.............

There is no purpose in FOLLOWING any of God's LAWs including the SABBATH if it is NOT done through FAITH that works by LOVE because it is ONLY as GOD writes his LAW to LOVE then we can take up our beds to follow him. LOVE is the fulfilling of GOd's LAW in those who BELIEVE (Rom 13:8-10)

How can one break the Sabbath if it is not one of the the commandments God has given us through the new covenant? How can we trust people that insist in putting a ten before the the word commandments in the New Testament trying to make us believe we are under the Sabbath command of the defunct old covenant.

According to the scriptures, Gods Word defines sin as the breaking any one of God's 10 commandments or not believing and following God's Word *JAMES 2:10-11; 1 JOHN 3:4; ROMANS 14:23. It is through God's law we receive a knowledge of what sin is *ROMANS 3:20; ROMANS 7:7. This is the purpose of Gods LAW. It is the standard of rightouesness if obeyed *PSALMS 119:172 and the knowledge of sin if disobeyed *ROMANS 3:20; ROMANS 7:7.

The pupose of God's LAW is to show us that we are all sinners in need of a Saviour and to lead us to Christ that we might be forgiven by faith *MATTHEW 9:12-13; GALATIANS 3:22-25. When we are brought to Christ (the Word) by faith and have repented from our sins (breaking God's commandments) we are now free to walk in Christ's Spirit *ROMANS 8:1-4; GALATIANS 5:16 and God's law is establsihed in the heart of the believer *ROMANS 3:31.

This is the new covenant promise of a new heart to love *HEBREWS 8:1-12 from JEREMIAH 31:31-34. 2 CORINTHIANS 3:1-18 is discussing the transition of the old covenant to the new covenant. In the new covenant the letters of the tables of stone have been now written on the fleshly tables of the heart to love *HEBREWS 8:10. Written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart *2 CORINTHIANS 3:3 referring to HEBREWS 8:10 from JEREMIAH 31:31-34.

In the new Covenant God has made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter kills, but the spirit gives life *2 CORINTHIANS 3:6. We now walk in God's Spirit of love so we do not fulfill the lusts of the FLESH *GALATIANS 5:16 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: WHY? That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit *ROMANS 3:4. The law written on stone is only the ministration of death to where sin is found because the wages of sin is death to those who reject the gift of God's dear son *2 CORINTHIANS 3:7; ROMANS 6:23.

The new covenant is salvation from sin and freedom to walk in newness of life through God's Spirit GALATIANS 5:16l; ROMANS 8:1-4; ROMANS 3:31; ROMANS 6. Salvation is from sin not to continue in it JOHN 8:31-36. If we continue in sin we will die *ROMANS 8:13; HEBREWS 10:26-39.

The law written on the heart by faith through the Spirit is the ministration of the new covenant promises and is what it means to be Born again *HEBREWS :8-10. Those who are born again do not commit sin *1 JOHN 3:9. According to the scriptures those who practice sin do not know God and need to be born again *1 JOHN 3:6; 1 JOHN 2:3-4; JOHN 3:3-7. This is the difference between the children of God and the children of the devil *1 JOHN 3:10.

2 CORINTHIANS 3 is not doing away with God's law it is showing the two covenants of stone and the Spirit and the role of God's LAW under the two covenants. If you be in the Spirit you are not under the law (been forgiven) and are now free to walk in love and newness of life *ROMANS 13:8-10; HEBREWS 8:10; GALATIANS 5:16; ROMANS 6. God's law has the same role it always has and that is to give us the knowledge of sin when it is broken *ROMANS 3:20; ROMANS 7:7; 1 JOHN 3:4 that the rightouesness of God's law might be fulfilled in us who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit *ROMANS 8:4; GALATIANS 5:16; ROMANS 3:31; 1 JOHN 3:9; 1 JOHN 2:3-4.

God is calling us higher than having a form of Godliness that denies his power to save us from our sins *2 TIMOTHY 3:5 Salvation is from the inside out.

I believe the scriptures teach All those who KNOWINGLY CONTINUE in UNREPENTANT SIN will not enter into God's KINGDOM *HEBREWS 10:26-27 because they reject the gift of God's dear son *ROMANS 6:23. God's 4th Commandment is one of the 10 Commandments that give us the KNOWLEDGE of what sin is. There is no such thing as the 9 commandments in God's WORD. God's Law (10 commandments) is not contained in ordinances. It's written on tables of stone in the old covenant by God and on the fleshly tables of the heart by God in the new *EXODUS 32:16; 2 CORINTHIANS 3:3; HEBREWS 8:10; ROMANS 13:8-10; MATTHEW 22:36-40; 1 JOHN 3:6-10; 1 JOHN 2:3-4; ROMANS 8:4; ROMANS 3:31.

God's 10 commandments are not called the book of the law of MOSES. The 10 commandments are called God's LAW. The law of MOSES is called the BOOK OF THE LAW. God's LAW (10 commandments) is written on tables of stone and is called God's LAW (not Moses Law) which was written and spoken by God and is the Work of God alone....

NEHEMIAH 10:29 [29], They joined to their brothers, their nobles, and entered into a curse, and into an oath, to walk in GOD'S LAW, WHICH WAS GIVEN TO MOSES the servant of God, and to observe and do all the commandments of the LORD our Lord, and his judgments and his statutes

EXODUS 32:16 [16], And THE TABLES WERE THE WORK OF GOD, AND THE WRITING WAS THE WRITING OF GOD, graven on the tables.

..............

You can see the above is different from the MOSAIC BOOK of the law written and spoken by Moses.

EXODUS 24:7 [7], And he took the BOOK OF THE COVENANT, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the LORD has said will we do, and be obedient.

DEUTERONOMY 31:24-26 [24], And it came to pass, when Moses had made an end of writing the words of this law in a book, until they were finished, [25], That Moses commanded the Levites, which bore the ark of the covenant of the LORD, saying, [26], TAKE THIS BOOK OF THE LAW, AND PUT IT IN THE SIDE OF THE ARK OF THE COVENANT of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against you.

JOSHUA 8:31 [31] As Moses the servant of the LORD commanded the children of Israel, AS IT IS WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF THE LAW OF MOSES, an altar of whole stones, over which no man has lift up any iron: and they offered thereon burnt offerings to the LORD, and sacrificed peace offerings.

May you receive God's Word and be blessed.
