Peace is desired ? (Biblical Peace, as Jesus Gives ? )
Yes I want peace in my workplace as interpersonal confli
Yes, this happens every day to many all over the world*. As Jesus lets us know ahead of time: IF anyone stands up for the truth (openly), they will be turned on, mocked, attacked, just as I AM...

but BE OF GOOD CHEER - ! I HAVE overcome the world.

The world hates Jesus. The world, all society, hates the TRUTH.

*
12So the one who thinks he is standing firm should be careful not to fall. 13

No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide an escape, so that you can stand up under it. 14Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry.…

So this is taking about temptation, but does this also apply to Trials?

Yes, trials are temptations to give up, to leave Christ, or to leave/abandon His Directions.
"Count it all joy, brethren, when we encounter various trials (even fiery trials) ..."
"because trials are to purify our faith LIKE GOLD" ..... yeah better than gold, better than much fine gold!

"He whose mind is stayed upon Christ, the same is <guarded> KEPT IN PEACE ...."

"MY peace I give you, NOT as the world giveth, give I to you"
The Kingdom of Yahuweh (God) is not meat and drink(not circumstantial)
but (daily, continual) Righteousness, Peace and Joy. (as recorded a few or more times in the NT)

Thanks I needed to reminded to abide in him. Perhaps God is shaping me through the trials I'm experiencing workplace?
TOTALLY! Yes, as HIS WORD says (in Hebrews, etc) this is one of many ways HE accomplishes purifying us in the same attitude as Jesus has.

God speaks only through scripture. Pastor prophets are not mini Popes.
Where is your scriptural verification of this?

Lately I have been having a lot of thoughts of quitting my job. A lot of people can only dream to get into this organization that I am employed. I really need guidance.

It just seems like my passion has disappeared (not sure if it's an attack from the enemy or if it's just God telling me to move on)? This organization has really helped me in my faith however not a lot of people know my work has caused me a lot of stress and anxiety, my boss being micromanager, and also shows favouritism and subtle discrimination in my team. Some discrimination as well at work. Can't tell HR, as everyone is close to my boss, even the boss of the HR is friends with my boss. Certain things are really not fair at my work. ANd this caused me to be sick.

Secondly, some of my relationship in my fellowship has changed for the worse. I suddenly feel excluded from groups within, which didn't happen before. And then someone complained about me to management to get me fired and it was slander issue.

I feel very hurt by all the things that happened. Years before I worked in this organization I received confirmation in the Lord that it was his will I work at this place. However, now suddenly everything starts going downhill - my health, my work and my relationships. Is this the enemy trying to attack me or is this God transitioning me to a different work place?

If someone can please help guide me... Anyone here prophetic that can prohesy over me so I will know God's will?
If you want to look for another job put together a resume and send it around. Don't ever quit a job without having something else lined up. You'll look unstable to potential employers if you do that, to say nothing of creating economic hardship for yourself.

Tough question. If the rest of your Christian life is on track (no unconfessed sin, no unforgiveness, proper prayer time and Bible study) then often adverse circumstances are a sign that it is time to move on. Do you resist the enemy continually? I had to deal with an obnoxious worker at my last (and last!) job. I bound the evil spirits in him and other workers before I started work each day. He was a "sacred cow" at work because he was mates with the boss. The boss stated that the worker had been much more cooperative since I started. Sheesh, I'd hate to have seen him before! After 3 years, my role had changed and I was doing work that I was not good at. It was as if the blessing had come off. After some time and soul-searching, I decided to quit and look for part time work until I retired. It was an easy decision and it has turned out to be the right one. The Bible (Colossians 3:15) says that we can be guided by the peace of Christ in our hearts. When the peace goes, you are in the wrong place. Its best to have another job to go to.
It is good if you can work this out between you and the Lord. You will learn a great principle that will help you right through your Christian life. Of course we will pray for you for wisdom.

Blessings in Christ Jesus! I will give you the same words I received before walking into work. "Pay this place no mind" And the answer to leave is no. Let The Lord use this place to grow you up in Him. The world and the enemy have no power over those who love. Keep in contact with The Lord all through out the day. When they let you down and insult you, He is there to comfort you and restore you. He is faithful. And know, that people can not help, but be the way they are. Become The Light in the mist of the darkness. So be encouraged, you are exactly where you need to be.

I am very productive at work and always do my best, as I work for God and not for men. However it's also a two way street. Employees should also be treated with fairness and integrity. We are not machines or mere robots that produce output, but human beings with feelings and emotions as God has created us. My work is toxic and has affected my mental health - for 4 years I have endured and practiced patience. Have you ever been in a toxic work environment?
Perform as well as you can and leave it at that. If the boss does not accept your output then you may be replaced. If not, then carry on as well as you can, and let the boss not accept your output, even though the boss keeps you employed. In other words, stay with principles before personalities.

Toxicity is letting your personality clash with others. If one stays with what they know is their current capacity, then one also knows that they have done as well as they can, and can be happy with that, regardless of what the boss or others personalities think. You Christian integrity remains intact.

When you are patient, you are no longer struggling with differences and issues. If they are still there, then one is still impatient. Patience is easy, because one basically waits, and how do we wait, we do nothing. In other words, we do not struggle with differences and issues.

There is only one right way, and that is the way of Truth. That is to allow Christ (The Truth) 'touch' you with honesty of consciousness. To stay with your own truth, regardless of what issues other people have. In that 'honesty' you know that you are okay, regardless if affected by mental health. In that okayness, nothing can touch you except Truth. There is no toxicity, until you let someone else's issues become your own.

Have I been in a toxic work environment? Yes, and it was a hard lesson to realize that I was already prone to toxicity due to my one issues about people, places, things and situations.

I have tried. But my boss is the type of person who will tell you everything is okay, but then subtly do things to sabotage you. I have noticed this a lot of times. Passive-aggressive.
Then by all means, dust off the resume, and start searching for a better tomorrow.

This sounds like every other job out there, to be honest. The world is getting worse as time goes on. I think you need to take this burden to God. I'm not sure how old you are as a Christian, but I can share with you when I fully surrendered to God, I felt the exact same thing going on and saw the same things going on in your experience. This was more than likely both an attack of the enemy as well as God allowing it to happen to strengthen/test my faith in Him. Every Christian goes through this process - time of testing.

Secondly, some of my relationship in my fellowship has changed for the worse. I suddenly feel excluded from groups within, which didn't happen before. And then someone complained about me to management to get me fired and it was slander issue.

As far as I can remember I've always been excluded, except for one from JW's. Though they had differing views, they were open enough to listen to what I believed from what the Bible (God) teaches. Then God had me move to another place and maybe He will send others again. I wait upon His will.
People have tried to fire me as well and succeeded only once. God's will be done. As Him what His will is for you in every situation.

I feel very hurt by all the things that happened. Years before I worked in this organization I received confirmation in the Lord that it was his will I work at this place. I know, it does hurt, but maybe you are to be a light in that place of darkness. Even the prophets asked God what their visions meant. The same is shown in your experience/situation. :yellowheart:

I was asking for specific scripture that says there are no more prophets because we have the new testament.
If scripture does it perfectly, you don't need extra biblical sources. Tongues and prophecy were necessary, though inferior to scripture, when it became complete with the book of Revelation. Paul said they would cease when the complete (perfect) arrived.

Scripture? Be specific. You keep avoiding my question.

If anyone prophecies over you, do the exact opposite. There are no prophets today since we now have the NT.

Do you not know that you are not prophesying to the OPer right now? You are telling them what they must do when a future event arises.

But I have to agree, that your prophesy is one inwhich, doing the opposite, would be best, in some cases.

I'm only teaching scripture on the matter.

I've been in your situation......was in a job that was toxic, people were trying to get me fired, slandered my name, i had anxiety which affected my health....etc.. So I had to make a change.

The thing i changed, however, was not my job......I changed myself. After changing myself, I no longer felt anxiety, I was able to render good for evil, bless those that curse, and generally see no wrong in anything being done........ As a result,,,,all the wrong doing stopped......or maybe i stopped noticing because i stopped allowing them to affect me.

God was then free to move me wherever He wanted, and move those from around me to tried to do wrong. He even made my enemies my foot stools......so I am now grateful for them, because I would not be where i am today if it were not for their help.

Trials come to make us stronger.......If we run from them, we fail, and will be retested in the future. Only after passing, do we move on to higher heights......

If you are not ready for this test, this time around......look for another job and switch......Get more into the Word and learn to worship God in spirit and in truth.....so that you can be ready and more prepared the handle this same test again in the future.
