Thank you all. We find out tomorrow. If you can take a moment to pray for my wife's anxiety. It's been overactive with this. I've been offering my rosaries for her peace of heart.

Remind her that God is working on this problem in order to bring everything together in the very best way for your family.
Sometimes that takes time, (Rome wasn't built in a day, nor was your car) but it also leaves you both time to go to God in prayer, and thus to receive from Him His blessed comfort and reassurance that you both need right now.

I know well indeed that no one wants to wait.
I'm like that too, so I know where she's coming from.

But I also know that when it comes to fixing cars, that it's best to leave these things to the experts. And it helps greatly if they are in turn led by God.
And that's where your intercessory prayers come into play.

So yes, pray for God's guidance.
Pray that the parts needed are in stock.
And pray for God to guide the funds that will be needed to the right place at the right time, and for Him to delay the need for other expenses in the mean time.

He's got this!

A little bit under a $700 repair for leaking fuel pump which is actually a good deal given what that generally costs.

On one hand I'm a bit melancholy wistful because if I was still in my home town, I could just take it down turn my dad grew up to the car pit and fix that.

But it's within our ability to pay. But more so my wife is less stressed. That's the main thing. I took on extra sacrifices the last couple days and offered it up for the piece of her heart. So I thank and praise God for his goodness there.

And in seeking to bring good from it, I used it to do an extra budgeting lesson with the children. And talked to them about relying on God when you are waiting and things are out of your control.

And I sat with them and listed the good things that have come about:

We did not have a regular mechanic that we knew we can trust but we found one through this.

We help them learn about not only Saint Christopher and Saint Raphael but Saint Frances of Rome.... For intercession during car travels and troubles.

We showed them how many people were praying for us and that all people should care for each other in such a way.

My daughter on her own without telling anyone said an extra Rosary yesterday because of it. Knowing without prompt to turn to God.

my daughter noticed that I was doing some extra things for the comfort of her mother. And said I love how you love mommy. And I was able to use that to explain to her my devotion to St. Joseph who loved Mary so much. And at the same time to my son describing him as the first Kight of Our Lady.

So I thank you deeply for all your prayers. Yes few days of stress and worry. But nothing that could not be offered up for greater spiritual benefit.

Sounds like a big win David.

O LORD my God, I cried to you for help, and you have healed me. ... Sing praises to the LORD, O you his saints, and give thanks to his holy name. For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comeswith the morning.
