I represent the United States of America (1776-), that was once composed of thirteen states after we declared independence from Great Britain, but now have as many as fifty. (Possibly one day Greenland will be added to the number hehe).

I am a Canadian. We are a large nation with a small population living beside a smaller nation with a much larger population. It has been said that Canadians don't know who they are. But Canadians do know who they are not --- we know that we are not Americans. In everything we do we try to make that clear, but whenever Americans need a friend we stand by them.

I've been to Canada and what a fine country it is! Have family members who live in Waterloo, Toronto and over in Edmonton.

What I love about England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland is the history. There is so much history, even close to home. Just outside my town lies an old roman road, the ancient Roman settlement of Letocetum, and the town of Shrewsbury with its narrow cobbled streets and Tudor buildings. Further afield are neolithic settlements, stone circles and the like. There's plenty here for people who love architecture and history.

I haven't been to the USA yet. It is certainly on my list of 'to dos'. I'd particularly like to see New York and Yellowstone Park.

Yeah, Great Britain has some pretty rich history and architecture. I want to visit it someday.

What I love about the United States is the freedoms, the advancements, the history and the influence we have in the world. We are the oldest surviving federation, and the foremost military power in the world, making up a third of global military spending (although where that goes and how it is used is questionable as well). We are a leading political, cultural, and scientific force internationally.

We have made many groundbreaking innovations within the last 200 years, including the computer and internet which you are using today. Here are a few variety of successful and popular inventions: television, airplanes, atomic bomb, video games, toilet paper, and even chocolate chip cookies

We were the first and last to man the moon, and more than once!

Some of our most internationally renowned genres are ragtime, jazz, blues, country, rock, punk, hip-hop, disco, and house.

I wonder how long we will be a united country? "Land where my fathers died, land of the Pilgrim's pride, from every mountain side, let freedom ring!"

Why do you post obvious misinformation? If you truly represent the United States, you know our motto is IN GOD WE TRUST and Greenland has no territorial relationship with us.

E pluribus unum is the traditional motto, In God We Trust became our official motto in 1956. I don't really mind either one, but the latter does not represent who we are anymore. We are living in the Post-Christian era, we are no longer a nation that trusts in the Creator who gave us our unalienable rights.

I don't want anyone from other countries to be confused about what is offical in America. Only the slogan we use now can be used to educate them. So it does matter.

BTW "only 1956" means nothing to a lady who is 42 years old. For me that is a long time ago.

It is a worthwhile question! In these last days of “so much the more as we see the day approaching”, isn’t strictly directed at the we who walk among a “perverse generation” within a “holy nation”. Australia. The land of drop bears, Vegemite and too many flamin bugs. More kangaroos and sheep than people and heat that can fry an egg outside.

More than 378 mammal species, 828 bird species, 4000 fish species, 300 species of lizards, 140 snake species, two crocodile species and around 50 types of marine mammal.
More than 80% of our plants, mammals, reptiles and frogs are unique to Australia and are found no-where else. Lets not forget the over 2000 species of spiders and 62,000 insect species either.

I live in the UK, in the foothills of the Pennine Chain, a beautiful country but wet and windy at the moment!

The Government is in a turmoil, and the Lord only knows what will happen in the coming weeks!

I pray for a firm hand to lead this nation of ours and a willingness to all pull together,

The Pennines is one of the finest and beautiful landscapes we have, the very backbone of Britain, and the source of many picturesque rivers. I love the stone walls, sweeping open moorland and snug villages and towns.

I live in an area known as the "Black Country". It comprises the towns of Walsall, and nearby Wolverhampton, Oldbury and Dudley which have today amalgamated into a conurbation of about a million people. Its name goes back to 1840 where heavy soot came from the industries that were in the area during the industrial revolution. There are a lot of canals which run through the area and surprisingly a large number of green spaces, especially along the borders with Staffordshire and Shropshire. People who live in the area are known as "yam yams", people who are very down to earth and have a very strong sing-song accent, which is very different from neighbouring Birmingham. If something is good, it is "bostin". If you say "ah bin ya?" or "ah bist?" you are asking someone how they are. Local delicacies are pork scratchings, cheese cobs, faggots and peas. The area even has its own flag! Popular tourist attractions include Dudley Castle, Dudley Zoo, and the Black Country Living Museum - all well worth a visit.
