Which country do you represent?

i live in the USA. We need prayer, and LOTS of it. Someone recently told me about a website where prayer warriors come together and pray together for the headlines, and crucial issues effecting our nation. We can listen to, and pray along, with others' recorded messages and prayers, and record our own prayers as well, 24x7.

Like others here, I pray for my nation and all the nations of the world, including all the leaders of each country.

E pluribus unum is the traditional motto, In God We Trust became our official motto in 1956. I don't really mind either one, but the latter does not represent who we are anymore. We are living in the Post-Christian era, we are no longer a nation that trusts in the Creator who gave us our unalienable rights.

An era in a society where the worldview and influence of the Christian faith is in decline. It was at one time widely accepted, respected, and encouraged, but now rejected, disregarded, and discouraged. The populace now wants to remove religion, especially Christianity, from the public sphere altogether. That's how I would briefly define "Post-Christian."

I guess seeing those words just makes me sad. As does seeing BCE/CE rather than BC/AD. Judeo-Christian values and all.

I find it interesting that despite changing BC/AD to BCE/CE, they are still basing it off the same timeline. They may change the term, but they can't change where it originated from, otherwise they would have to change the whole Gregorian calendar. "Common Era" began with Christ, and "Before Common Era" was before Christ.
