Trump Questions Loyalty of Jewish Democrats

Wouldn't that be assuming that the Jewish people is Israel then? I mean, that's not any better at all. It's worse if possible.

I think you guys are misunderstanding Trump. This isn't promoting a racist trope. Well.. not primarly or conciously.
Trump has, at his core, a very simple worldview. If he does something for somebody, he expects that somebody to be "loyal" to him and to support him in every endeveaour. It doesn't matter how small that something is or if that somebody even wanted it done, as long as Trump has done it, he wants absolute loyalty. And if this loyalty isn't given, that somebody isn't loyal.
Of course, Trump himself can cancel this "deal" at any time he pleases.
That's his MO.

Being suspected of loyalty to some other country is what put Japanese people in camps. I wonder if that could ever happen to Jews?

Makes me wonder - our family on my father's side came from Germany to the US in the early 1800's. So when my father went to war against Germany in WWII, was he 'disloyal'?

Yes, Kennedy had to deal with that when he ran for president. He had to assure people he would obey the constitution and be loyal to the US.

When asked about American Jews, he started going on about how much he's done for Israel. This is the same man that stood in front of Jews and called Netanyahu "your prime minister".

Shocking. Trump said something stupid that shows he doesn't understand basic facts about the world.
It will be newsworthy when he goes for an extended period of time without doing that, assuming that it is even possible for him. Ugh.
