You are in our prayers. Here's something I do. Is swearing in your Mind a sin?

The scripture speaks of Lot's righteous soul being vexed by the terrible sin he saw in Sodom and Gomorrah.
Consider coming out of Sodom. Cut off that TV and those movies. Not saying this is you or your situation. I just know that you do not want to feed the fire with gas.

I do pray for you to be freed from that habit. It can certainly happen. When I was a teenager I used to swear a ton and thought it was funny. After I became a Christian, over time I got over that. You can, too.

Giving this testimony to encourage you. I also had a terrible mouth earlier. II Cor 10 says for us to take every thought captive so when they come in my mind, I call on Yeshua. If I've gotten upset with someone, I asks Yahweh to help me forgive them - even if their driving is driving me nuts. It was a process for me and happened less and less and less. Sure there were other things that impacted this as well.
