False Dispie?

Hold up... I believe all scripture is for All people. I also assert that the BOC and Israel are one in Jesus.

The Apostles were Jews. They asked Jesus, also a JEW, a Jewish question that had literal Earthly implications.

If reading contextually correct is "False Dispie" definitions... you may well make a full blown Dispie out of me yet.

It's a short passage, would you kindly exegete it out and explain how I'm missing something?
I don't set foot in Dispie churches and do my best to steer clear of them altogether just as I do Jws and Mormons.

Still addicted to salvation by DNA, bro?

Still believing Romans 9-11, in conjunction with Acts 1, Zechariah 14, Joel 3 and the book of Revelation, bro. :D

Again... I'm not a dispie or a covenant theologian. I asked if you could please approach the verses in Acts with Exegesis that I'm citing.

I have no problem doing so... I'll do so.

It all began with DNA irrelevance. (Genesis 17:12)

@Dave L .... Would you please Exegete this from your perspective since mine is so apostate, that you have labeled it as, that you won't step foot in a house that would Exegete it similar to myself?

Acts 1:4 While He was together Or He was eating, or He was lodging with them, He commanded them not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait for the Father’s promise.

Jesus is telling them to not leave Jerusalem and is about to tell them about Pentecost...

This,” He said, “is what you heard from Me; 5 for John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.

The Holy Spirit is now specified to be coming soon, by Jesus.

6 So when they had come together, they asked Him, “Lord, are You restoring the kingdom to Israel at this time? ”

The Apostles, Jews, who know the MESSIAH will restore the kingdom to Literal Israel per prophecy... and further more... that it entails the Physical return of Jesus, Who they are heartbroken to see go... and are simultaneously asking in a clever way... When are you Returning... Interrupt Jesus to ask when He is returning to RESTORE THE KINGDOM to ISRAEL... which is NOT THE BOC... even per proper reading of this verse through EXEGESIS.

7 He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or periods that the Father has set by His own authority. <- Matthew 24:36

Jesus reiterates that He will not reveal the Day and Hour of His CORPOREAL Return. Then He proceeds as He had initially been speaking, before the Apostles interrupted Him!

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come on you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the end of the earth.”

Now... Jesus starts with "BUT" ... as in nice try guys... I'm not telling you when I'm CORPOREALLY returning... And proceeds to continue about Pentecost which in contrast to (Times and Periods that the Father has set by His own Authority)... He had already said in Verse 5 (Not many days from now)

The Ascension

9 After He had said this, He was taken up as they were watching, and a cloud took Him out of their sight.

Jesus feet leave the location He was at and Ascends... into "A Cloud" that takes Him out of their site. (He led captives captive)... <- Ephesians 4:8

10 While He was going, they were gazing into heaven, and suddenly two men in white clothes stood by them.

These are Angles...

They said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking up into heaven? This Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come in the same way that you have seen Him going into heaven.

The Angles make it clear Jesus will return exactly as He left.... As in Full blown Corporeal Form, from the Earth.

United in Prayer

12 Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mount called the Mount of Olives, which is near Jerusalem — a Sabbath day’s journey away.

They were at the MOUNT of OLIVES when He Ascended. This is a favorite location of Jesus...

Ezekiel 4 in conjunction with Leviticus 26 and the decree of Cyrus would suggest otherwise.
You need to study Israel and the Kingdom in the New Testament and make the old testament subject to it.

Still addicted to salvation by DNA, bro?

Taken from here

Beginning of multi-chapter Exegesis

Romans 9-11, Acts 1, Zechariah 14, Joel 3 and Galatians 4 and 6:16

~Intro to Romans 9 -inprogress-~

I speak the truth in Christ —I am not lying; my conscience is testifying to me with the Holy Spirit —

Romans 9:1 - Bible Gateway passage: Romans 9:1 - Holman Christian Standard Bible

Paul just made it clear he’s about to be painfully honest, and has bound his words to be judged by God, as He is holding himself in personal accountability of Preaching what he’s about to preach under God.

that I have intense sorrow and continual anguish in my heart.

For I could almost wish to be cursed and cut off from the Messiah for the benefit of my brothers, my own flesh and blood.

They are Israelites, and to them belong the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the temple service, and the promises. The ancestors are theirs, and from them, by physical descent, came the Messiah, who is God over all, praised forever. Amen.

Romans 9:2-5 - Bible Gateway passage: Romans 9:2-5 - Holman Christian Standard Bible

Paul’s heart hurts... why? In verse 2 he immediately reveals he is broken inside!

Verses 3-5 reveal why! Paul literally wishes he could revoke his salvation to give it to a group of people that apparently matter to him enormously. As Paul is speaking under oath of the Holy Spirit, he is revealing God’s heart, as well. This lines up with Christ’s words that close Matthew 23 with deep sorrow and lamenting, but show hope.

Who is making Paul sad? His brothers of “his own flesh and blood”... which is clearly a reference to his unbelieving Jewish brothers of the Broken off nature, of ... what Nation?

Israel as Paul calls these broken off Jews Israelites! Paul specifically notes that they are Israelites of the National Israel and goes on to specify that they are so by blood, DNA, Ancestral experience!

Anyone who contests this is ignoring context...

To be edited and continued further.

Continued... Romans 9:6-13

Continued... Romans 9:14-26

Continued... Romans 9:27-28

Concluded... Romans 9:29-33

Fair enough. Fwowny Face :(
If it based on historic Amillennialism I would be interested. But I spend too much time wading through the confusion introduce by other systems.

This is a complete dodge. Where does the Bible that the Hebrews will always be the people of the Lord regardless of their behavior and rejection of the Lord? I've posted many verses that prove this wrong and you aren't supporting your viewpoint in the least.

You must have missed the other post.

To be real... I still lean towards the AMillennialism approach... though It's pretty hard for me not to acknowledge that Futurist's have good points... in that Satan is clearly not bound, at this time. That's my honest 2 cents.

I don't claim to know it all, or even a fraction of it all.

I only Exegete what I am 99% Certain of. (Opinion that it is)

Satan is now loosed according to the last half of Revelation 20. Christ can return any day now.

Believe it or not... I see this as a strong possibility... The thousand years of the matter is a genuine speculative matter on all theologians accounts if full honesty is employed.

When did God change His mind?

Abraham and Jacob are two entirely different references. It's so adorable when people get their Abraham confused with their Jacob.

It's like when adorable little tykes get their Noah and Moses mixed up at Sunday school felts. :D
