I am literally scared of my brother and my sister in law. I am afraid of what they will do to me. They don't' treat me with any respect. I cannot move out because of no transportation and lack of funds. I can't even use my money because they feel that I am a bad shopper. I have no idea what to do. I feel like I am a weak person, which I am. I don't stand up to them because I am afraid of what they will do or say. How do I overcome this? Please pray for me.
Assuming you are committed to doing God's will for your life...
the first thing you should do is pray the Lord will give yo favor in their eyes. God has, does, and will continue to change the thoughts and actions of persons as a direct response to prayer.
Secondly, keep people praying for your situation. Ask the Holy Spirit to intercede for you.
third, Get Scripture together that addresses your situation and crowd your mind with these Scriptures. Don't waste yours and God's time with complaining or feeling sorry for yourself. You should respond positively to your difficult situation so that The Lord can turn you situation around for the good. God is seriously not pleased with Christians who spend a large amount of their time complaining.
God is not pleased with people abusing His people. Pray that God will have mercy on them. This is for your own good. Job was healed after he prayed of those who made him miserable. Jesus prayed for those kilning Him on the Cross.
Fourth, Practice the biblical principle of surrender. that is, submit everything, including your fears, to Him. Trials and tribulations pertain less to the presence of our own weaknesses and failures and more to our willingness to give such to the Lord to deal with. The battle is the Lord's.
fifth, stay in prayer and God's Word. Don't allow Satan to occupy your thoughts with self condemnation and other negative self-talk. Claim victory before you see it manifested. Act, talk, and think like you are a child of God whom you Father loves and is shaping into Christ-likeness. Overcome with praise and Thanksgiving and loving the Lord Jesus. Christians have more to be thankful for than they do to complain and worry about. Write out your list of those things you have to thank God for. Shout the shout of victory even if your circumstance seems contrary to such, just as they Israelites did before the walls of Jericho fell.
