I pray for my dear sister in law has tumours on her liver. A major operation in January is due. She doesn't know the Lord...
Praying for your dear sister-in-law that she will find healing for her liver and salvation for her soul.

After my blood test on Thursday I had an early call on Friday evening from the doctor. He told me my one kidney is deteriorating since coming out of hospital and I shall need a repeat blood test on Monday

Praying for a full recovery for your kidney.
I believe bone broth is very good for building up the immune system. Home made...

Thank you for the advice. Could you give me the recipe from Bone broth. Sounds tasty!
It is supposed to be amazing for its healing properties, I used to pressure to cook the bones of the chicken (or turkey) and make soup from it when my children were at home, my mum used to say that it helped to ward off colds and flu. (Plus suet dumplings...yummy but fattening these days)

Chicken carcasses would be fine, I thought I would freeze one until I had another to go with it. A recipe in my keto diet book says to add chicken feet for extra benefit! I will speak to my butcher about that.
The idea is to drink the broth as it is.

I would like to be a very healthy 'oldie' (cough cough, I wonder if it will sort out my lungs?)
Let me know how you get on, it is only what was done in the old days, boil for hours and hours, if like me you haven't got a pressure cooker...

  • The gelatin found in bone broth is a hydrophilic colloid that attracts and holds liquids, including digestive juices, thereby supporting proper digestion
  • Bone broth reduces joint pain and inflammation courtesy of chondroitin sulfates, glucosamine, and other compounds extracted from the boiled down cartilage
  • Amino acids such as glycine, proline, and arginine in bone broth all have anti-inflammatory effects
  • Bone broth contains high amounts of calcium, magnesium, and other nutrients that play an important role in healthy bone formation
  • Bone broth can be made from any type of bones you like – chicken, beef, pork, or even fish – but seek bones from organically raised, pastured, or grass-fed animals

Waiting for repeat blood test results. I am not at my best but feel that I am improving
I will pray for you to be stronger,
I have ordered some 'bones' on line for my bone broth. ..and bought an instant pot...an electric pressure cooker. All set for my bone broth tomorrow. :) now I just need a good night's sleep tonight for the energy.
Anything can happen! :cheer::whistle:

I had an Oncology appointment on Wednesday. The consultant asked how I was and said,You have had a tough start to the New Year's. How are you feeling now. I said that I was not at my at my best but pressing on. She said that after looking at my notes and previous blood test,I should be prepared to be admitted to hospital again,as my kidney was showing concern. :I'd like you to have another blood test, while you are here at the hospital, instead of waiting until Thursday, which was when we were due for the blood test. She said she would call me after receiving the results. I am pleased to say that the results were a little better and I would not have to be admitted to hospital. 'Drink plenty of water. Any unusual symptoms phone the hospital'. God is good,we give Him thanks!
