sorry about the name.

Ok myst, you explain to me how Abraham is not dead but alive, during Jesus' life on earth before His death on the cross, and Abraham has already seen Jesus' day.

John 8:50
'Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever keeps my word will never see death.' (So) the Jews said to him, 'Now we are sure that you are possessed. Abraham died, as did the prophets, yet you say, 'Whoever keeps my word will never taste death.' Are you greater than our father Abraham, who died? Or the prophets, who died? Who do you make yourself out to be?'Jesus answered, 'If I glorify myself, my glory is worth nothing; but it is my Father who glorifies me, of whom you say, 'He is our God.' You do not know him, but I know him. And if I should say that I do not know him, I would be like you a liar. But I do know him and I keep his word. Abraham your father rejoiced to see my day; he saw it and was glad. So the Jews said to him, 'You are not yet fifty years old and you have seen Abraham?' Jesus said to them, 'Amen, amen, I say to you, before Abraham came to be, I AM.'

Either Abraham had a prophetical vision during his life time on earth or Abraham saw the day of Jesus from sheol or heaven.

There is nothing against the arrow of time.

Compared to being God the Son, yes.

Hello John,
How would you correct the Nicene Creed to your way of thinking? Are you thinking you would insert an (in title only) into the Nicene Creed? For example, (Begotten of the Father before all ages(in title only). Light from Light...)

Statement of Faith
The Nicene Creed
We believe in (Romans 10:8-10; 1John 4:15)
ONE God, (Deuteronomy 6:4, Ephesians 4:6)
the Father (Matthew 6:9)
Almighty, (Exodus 6:3)
Maker of Heaven and Earth, (Genesis 1:1)
and of all things visible and invisible. (Colossians 1:15-16)
And in ONE Lord Jesus Christ, (Acts 11:17)
the Son of God, (Mathew 14:33; 16:16)
the Only-Begotten, (John 1:18; 3:16)
Begotten of the Father before all ages. (John 1:2)
Light of Light; (Psalm 27:1; John 8:12; Matthew 17:2,5)
True God of True God; (John 17:1-5)
Begotten, not made;
(John 1:18)
of one essence with the Father (John 10:30)
by whom all things were made;
(Hebrews 1:1-2)
Who for us men and for our salvation (1Timothy 2:4-5)
came down from Heaven, (John 6:33,35)
and was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary, (Luke 1:35)
and became man. (John 1:14)
And was crucified for us (Mark 15:25; 1Cointhians 15:3)
under Pontius Pilate, (John 19:6)
and suffered, (Mark 8:31)
and was buried. (Luke 23:53; 1Corinthians 15:4)
And the third day He rose again, according to the Scriptures. (Luke 24:1 1Corinthians 15:4)
And ascended into Heaven, (Luke 24:51; Acts 1:10)
and sits at the right hand of the Father. (Mark 16:19; Acts 7:55)
And He shall come again with glory (Matthew 24:27)
to judge the living and the dead; (Acts 10:42; 2Timothy 4:1)
whose Kingdom shall have no end. (2 Peter 1:11)
And in the Holy Spirit, (John 14:26)
the Lord, (Acts 5:3-4)
the Giver of Life, (Genesis 1:2)
Who proceeds from the Father; (John 15:26)
Who with the Father and the Son together is worshipped and glorified; (Matthew 3:16-17)
Who spoke through the prophets. (1 Samuel 19:20 ; Ezekiel 11:5,13) In one, (Matthew 16: 18)
holy, (1 Peter 2:5,9)
catholic*, (Mark 16:15)
and apostolic Church. (Acts 2:42; Ephesians 2:19-22)
I acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins**. (Ephesians 4:5; Acts 2:38)
I look for the resurrection of the dead, (John 11:24; 1Corinthians 15:12-49; Hebrews 6:2; Revelation 20:5)
and the life of the world to come. (Mark 10:29-30)
AMEN. (Psalm 106:48)

The Bible tells us that Jesus was Eternally Begotten of God at His Resurrection. We know God to exists outside of physical time. Jesus, Begotten into Eternal life, upon His Resurrection, as Eternal God, now exists from before Creation, to beyond the end of physical time. This solves the age old Church Crux of how Jesus could be both, Eternal God incapable of sin, and Free willed man, capable of sin, in the same Being. Jesus, out of human Free willed love for God the Father, chose not to sin, perfectly.

Jesus being Eternally Begotten of God at His Resurrection also allows for Adam to be God's 'First Contact' with intelligent free willed life.

To obey God is to love God. Jesus If Jesus was Eternal God, incapable of sin, while He was man on earth, He could not have freely chose to die on the cross out of loving obedience to God the Father. Jesus as free willed man on earth, then becomes Eternal God upon His Resurrection, now existing from before creation, is Jesus fully man, and fully God, at the same time, in the same Being. Jesus, freely chose to love the Father to the farthest dimension of love for God the Father.

1 John 5:3
For the love of God is this, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome,

John 14:15
If you love me, you will keep my commandments.

Matthew 4:1 The Temptation.
Then Jesus was led into the desert by the Spirit to be tempted by the devil.

Luke 22:28
"You are the ones who have stood loyally by me in my temptations."Jesus tells us his will is separate from the Father's will.

John 10:17
"The Father loves me for this: that I lay down my life to take it up again. No one takes it from me; I lay it down freely."

John 8:29
"The One who sent me is with me. He has not deserted me since I always do what pleases him."

John 14:30
"I shall not go on speaking to you longer; the Prince of this world is at hand. He has no hold on me, but the world must know that I love the Father and do as the Father has commanded me."

John 4:34
"Doing the will of him who sent me and bringing his work to completion is my food."

Luke 22:42
"Father, if it is your will, take this cup from me; yet not my will but yours be done."

Revelation 3:21 (Jesus is speaking after His resurrection and ascension.)
"I will give the victor the right to sit with me on my throne, as I myself won the victory and took my seat beside my Father on his throne."
