What are some warning signs you would suggest may be indicators of needing to move on to finding a new Church?
What are some signs you would say are indicators of a good Church?
Have you ever had to change Churches (besides having to because of location)?
There are no perfect churches that I am aware of. I would suggest you find a church you like and be a loyal member, setting a good example for the others.

For every reason you find then you need to turn it around and say these are the reasons I need to stay so I can preach truth.

Sometimes God puts us in a church to help change it.

I'd say pray. Many seek to do this by the mind. People assess, is the church a loving church, does it have all the programs that would make it a great place to be with lots to do. God will lead everyone different. To illustrate God actually might lead some to a non-loving church for the reason that they can help bring people out of their spiritual immaturity through the power of LOVE in them. God might however lead one to a "loving church" for many reasons we can list as well.

As for doctrines if they believe things as outlined in the Apostle's Creed that's pretty accurate. All churches seem to have variety of ways of believing what I'll call second level belief things as in Baptists, Pentecostals or Anglicans etc have different ways of thinking about a few things but with the main beliefs they all hold to essential beliefs things, as mentioned The Apostles Creed.

What are some warning signs you would suggest may be indicators of needing to move on to finding a new Church?
There is much more, but three that come to mind immediately are these:

1a. Failure of the church to teach sound Biblical doctrine and/or 1b. The teaching of false doctrine.
2. Failure to properly administer church discipline whenever it is called for Biblically.
3. Cult-like leadership where a single man (or a small group) has complete authority/control over everything and everyone in the church (and if a church ever asks to see your most recent tax returns, don't walk, run ).
What are some signs you would say are indicators of a good Church?
1. The Bible is taught regularly and it's held to be the inerrant and infallible word of God.
2. Church discipline is practiced properly/Biblically, and as often as needed.
3. There is a central focus on both Prayer and Missions/support of missionaries and/or missions organizations.
Have you ever had to change Churches (besides having to because of location)?
Yes, but when I left, I was really leaving the denomination (which had become corrupt .. my local church was not .. yet!). Its fall began decades ago when it chose to consider the Bible neither inerrant nor infallible, as well when they chose to deny our Confession, and thereby deny much of what it teaches. Sadly, they now resemble a Unitarian church/denomination far more than they do a Christian one :(

Yours and His,
David

I can help more if I know about your current church.
