I've noticed a few things about evolution-deniers when presented with cold, hard evidence:
1) They'll claim it's not evidence ("Archaeopteryx isn't a transitional form! It's just a bird! It has feathers, it flies, so it's a bird!")
2) They'll change the subject ("So what if you've got a link between homo erectus and homo habilis? How is it that this planet even supports life?! To think of the sheer odds that Earth would be so perfectly positioned from the Sun with all right conditions for life to form! It's ludicrous!")
3) They'll just ignore it. Which seems to be the case here.
